boyst
Hackett's like: "this kid EJ has all five of my passing plays down!" 4 of those passes to Jackson. One to hogan running 9 yards on 3rd and 10.

jimmy10
4 of those passes to Jackson. One to hogan running 9 yards on 3rd and 10. Ah, but can he master the keeper and slide for a yard loss on 3rd and 1? Now THAT takes technique.
Sojourner
4 of those passes to Jackson. One to hogan running 9 yards on 3rd and 10. Bit generous with the 9 yards there buddy. It's more like 7 and he goes forward for 2...

papazoid
what OC can be successful when ALL 3 qb's suck and 4 of your front 7 can't block (both guards and TE's)
C.Biscuit97
4 of those passes to Jackson. One to hogan running 9 yards on 3rd and 10. Haha. That 5 yard pass play on 3rd and 7 is a staple of the Hackett Attack. We need more Spiller runs up the middle!
Dirtbag
well he got hired because he's enthusiastic, can't stop now...... hackett strikes me as the kind of guy who "whoots!" upon releasing a perfectly double-tapered dump. Sisyphean Bills
Great quote. Breaking it down, the "improvement" cannot possibly be in game action since he is away from it. That begs the question of what improvements Hackett is referring to? From the quote, zero information about what is improved is provided. It is left as an exercise for the reader's imagination. Improvement in: running the scout team? holding a clipboard? tying his shoes? pushing the Swifter around his apartment? The sun is shining. Somewhere. Dr. Who
Wow, an attempt at a positive EJ comment engenders nothing but negative comments. How rare for a Bills' message board. EJ will get another shot next year and I predict he will do much better.
8-8 Forever?
Wow, an attempt at a positive EJ comment engenders nothing but negative comments. How rare for a Bills' message board. Hope so . That was the plan last year to sit behind kolb. Now the sitting is done time to play . The plan was delayed one year bc kolb got wiped out . We shall see. Last three games will tell all EJ will get another shot next year and I predict he will do much better.

I'm still holding out hope for EJ. Maybe he is getting better but we won't know until next season.... unless the wheels really fall off tomorrow. It makes one wonder just how bad he graded EJ prior to his "improvements" if the QB play displayed by Kyle Orton is still beter than EJ.
