  1. Nice job. In your scenario they take DK Metcalf at #9 and pass on the OT and TE. I hope the Bills might trade back if they really want DK Metcalf.
  2. On pace for 10-6. Still a fun team to watch play. Im not freaking out, just hoping for some consistency on the Oline. Jets front is awesome, two pro bowlers we couldnt handle last nite. Move on, now lets get healthy and go beat the Saints baby
  3. The forecast for DECEMBER 10th just got a whole lot sunnier. We loves us some Jacoby Brissett. He hung a whopping ZERO points on us last time we faced.
  4. The only angle I could see that supports that is that we needed some very long FG kicks early to win games, and that our ridiculously awesome 4 turnovers per game as of late is unsustainable, which it is. On the other hand, our only two losses are by 6 and 3pts. That single coverage on AJ Green against the Bengals cost us a 75 yarder that ultimately was the difference in the game, and we were a Zay Jones rookie mistake away from beating Carolina. That's two plays away from being undefeated and having the best record in the league
  5. Will be interesting to see Calvin out there with our other two tall receivers. His contract and knee situation make this anything but a clean deal for years to come, but I like the upgrade and the fact that our starting three wr's have the biggest wingspan's in all of football. Tyrod likes to throw high and out of bounds so we got guys that can make him look good.
  6. Finally. Put the guy on the bench somewhere and keep the stupid politics out of the game we all watch to enjoy sports and not debate over racist police officers
  7. Hey if your QB likes to throw high and out of bounds like ours, what a better WR lineup than Holmes 6'4 Benjamin 6'5 Matthews 6'3 Clay 6'3 Welcome to the TALL BOYZ CLUB CALVIN !
  8. I love Andy Reid and the KC Chiefs fan base is a real one, up there with us and Green Bay. As much as I like the thought of KC tanking to boost our pick order next year, I just can't root against that team. The fact that I bet big on them to win 9 games this season honestly has nothing to do with it, but that was almost as easy money as my Rams bet (they only had to win 5)
  9. Not happening. If we make a move for anyone it should be RG or RT. Our receivers get open enough, and we've shown that even with Sammy we aren't a slinging type of team. When Clay comes back we will have a very good lineup of targets for the 2nd half run
  10. The 6th round pick was meaningless, this was a obviously a cap move to unload an underachiever grossly overpaid relative to his contributions. I always loved big 99, thought maybe Denver was going to take him instead of Von Miller. Instead they took the guy who won them a superbowl and we took the guy who pretty much gave us headaches. The next three picks were AJ Green, Patrick Peterson and Julio Jones. JJ Watt was also there to be had. I don't blame Buddy for picking Marcel, but boy did we lose out on some elite guys in that one.
  11. Yeah he's not accurate at all dude. Since the start of the 2015 season, Kaepernick ranks last in the NFL among 35 qualified passers in off-target percentage (22.6). His completion percentage ranks No. 32 at 59.1. Maybe you think thats good, but I dont and neither do the GM's.
  12. He wasnt proven right, thats my point. Chandler was the guy to keep, I watch Zona every week he's flat out dominant right now. They have nobody like him and it will eventually cost them the season.
  13. Have you done anything to improve your lack of accuracy or are you stuck with it like Jamarcus is. Wait, I see the broadside of a barn over there, grab this football and lets take a walk.....
  14. I called this from the beginning and it's looking more and more like the GENIUS screwed up another big trade, possibly as awful as the Seymour trade was. (or beautiful if you're a Bills fan) The Pats traded away Chandler Jones and got a guard (Cooper) and a 2nd round pick from Zona. They traded that pick down into a pair of picks where they selected guard Joe Thuney and WR Malcolm Mitchell. Cooper turned out to be a bust, and Malcolm Mitchell contributed a little last year but can't stay healthy and never even saw the field this year. Thuney is a decent guard by most accounts, ranked average by PFF but that's essentially all they got from the trade. Meanwhile Chandler is ripping it up again this year. 8 sacks already this season and one of the elites at his position. The Patriots defense is awful, and just got worse with Hightower out for the season. To make matters worse, the GENIUS guaranteed $40M to dopey Gilmore, whose cap hit is similar to what the Cards are paying for Jones in his new deal. (Gilmore cap hit $9M this year, then $12M and $14M in year three. And his dead money will be heavy if they dump him. Jones is around $10M cap hit annually) Even without my Patriots Hating Bias, Belichick may be a good coach--as evidenced by his awesome #32 ranked defense this year, and the offensive mastery he showed last year at home without Brady scoring that whopping ZERO points against our mediocre defense), but he sure sucks as a GM. Hey.... at least he has a pleasant, engaging personality and sense of humor.......
  15. I just keep thinking back to that incredible catch he had in that preseason gamex pass too high from Tyrod (as usual) and too far out of bounds (as usual) but the kid snagged it, got pummelled, landed on his face and still hung on. He will come around but man Zay itsa good thing you landed in Buffalo cuz most NFL fans around the country are nasty to their own players if they lapse
  16. The playoff drought doesn't really mean that much to me. I want an exciting team first and foremost, which we get from Tyrod and Shady, lost some with Sammy leaving. Wish we had a dynamic kick returner like Roscoe or Percy. My second priority is a championship type team, which we don't have. Getting a wildcard bid and losing in the first round of the playoffs like the Bengals do every year isn't really a big thing for me. It's one more week on the season to get excited about and then you realize you don't have a qb good enough to win it for you. I hope we get to see Peterman at some point this year, just to get an idea of what we have. The same goes for continuing Dawkins play to evaluate what kind of lineman we have there. The biggest draft for this team in decades is coming up and we need to go into this offseason with some more data on these guys. Logan Thomas? Milano? I'm hopeful for the drought to end just so the stupid conversation ends, but I just don't see us winning on the road in a playoff game with our passing game being so anemic. Its basically midseason and we're signing receivers off the couch and starting them the same week, and we're one shady injury away from doing the same thing with running backs. Beane did not forsee us making a run here or we'd still have Sammy, he really was affordable for one more year. I still love watching the Bills, but we need to get the QB of the future, and hit on some draft picks this spring. That's the key to having a dynasty here.
  17. He spent some time on the Murph show today. Said they've been working on that play for a long time now. He said Dennison told him that he'd be running so fast the defensive end would have no chance to get him and laughed about how when he turned the corner and saw two defenders standing there waiting for him that it wasn't the way it happened in practice so he had to "get athletic" and make it happen. He said when you come in cold and they call that play his first focus is just make the grab on the ball because it's harder than it looks when you're running full out. Seemed really happy to be in Buffalo after 6 years with the Raiders. They cut him on his birthday, which is the 26th. The number he wears now. He said it's a reminder.......
  18. These are the types of leaders that TreD needs right now to keep him focused. The poor kid has had Julio Jones, AJ Green, and Mike Evans to deal with these past few weeks, probably the best three tall receivers in the world and he gets 'em all back to back. Speeches like this probably mean the world to the younger guys like he and Zay, who are having some mental growing pains right now. Lorenzo Alexander seems to be another great veteran stabilizing force for this team. He's like the new Freddy.
  19. Drunk idiots have been doing stuff like this since....well....alcohol was discovered. The only difference is now everyone carries a personal video camera and has a way to instantly get it out to millions. By the way, these jumpers DO hurt themselves seriously. All the time. One dude had a compound fracture from a post game leap. Let idiots be idiots, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.
  20. PFF should evaluate McDermott. I love the guy as a team leader but this defense is not running smoothly in critical situations. 1. 10 men on the field Atlanta game, last play. 2. single cover A. J. Green with no safety help in Cinci, give up easy TD. OJ Howard today as well. 3. Had to burn two timeouts in 2nd half from disorganized personnel, one offense and one defense late in the game where a timeout can be the whole game. 4. End of first half play call, just ridiculous. Again, he seems to be an impressive person, and I know he's a rookie HC but this is not a tight ship by any means and he needs to clean it up.
  21. Same thing Zay did on last play of Carolina game Our receivers coach and dennison need to clean that up. it's really just fundamental football.
  22. Yup. At that time Jameis already had over 360 yards passing and was cutting through us like butter. We were going to lose that game if TreD didn't pull that houdini move. How slick was that play? The punch out and recover all in one motion. He's a monster. he is basically the guy we hoped Gilmore would be but never was.
  23. I obviously am wrong, but Groy seems so much better than Ducasse to me. The guy came in and played some great football last year for us, I must have missed something. Can he not play RG? Has he tried? I was under the impression when camp started we had two solid guards in Richie and Miller, and Groy would provide depth at both positions (and of course center if Wood went down again) Then all of the sudden Miller can't hold his own, we bring in Ducasse who must have blackmail naked photos of the coaching staff or something, and Groy can't crack the starting lineup. Strange indeed.............
  24. I would summarize this team by saying our GM did a great job at putting together an impressive defensive backfield and they've been fun to watch.. As nice as that surprise was, the unpleasant surprise has been a very inconsistent and subpar Oline, and the loss of Clay, Jordan Matthews, Watkins and Woods has left us really one dimensional for the Tampa game. Like we literally have a slumping rookie and our kick returner as our best two wideouts. Yikes. The good news is we're a better team than Tampa, especially on a beautiful fall sunday afternoon in Orchard Park, where our home field advantage is more like 5 or 6 points. I don't care who is playing QB, we're going to take this game by two scores.
