boyst
Got my girlfriend to watch Vision Quest with me. She's never seen it. It always amazed me how great this soundtrack is, but are there any better encapsulates its era? Every one of these songs is the perfect 80's type song, from Dio, Journey and REO to Madonna. Also, Forrest Whitaker was in this movie. Journey - Only The Young Dio - Hungry for Heaven Sammy Hagar - I'll Fall In Love Again Foreigner - Hot Blooded REO Speedwagon - Time For Me To Fly Madonna - Gambler -This movie was her first cameo on film Madonna - Crazy For You Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe Jon Waite - Change Style Council - Shout To The Top Don Henley - She's On The Zoom I am sure there are a ton of great soundtracks, so name a few... Miyagi-Do Karate
I am a big fan if movie score soundtracks. James newton Howard soundtracks from m night shylamans movies are awesome..eg, unbreakable and signs. Thomas Newman's shawshank redemption soundtrack is a classic. I also love bill conti's karate kid and rocky scores. The karate kid one is sold as a limited edition.

DrDawkinstein
It's a bit dated since it came out in 1993, but nothing will ever beat the soundtrack for Judgement Night. The combination of popular rock/metal bands with rap bands was huge back then. This was before nu-metal. No. Title Artists Length 1. "Just Another Victim" Helmet and House of Pain 4:23 2. "Fallin'" Teenage Fanclub and De La Soul 4:28 3. "Me, Myself, & My Microphone" Living Colour and Run DMC 3:10 4. "Judgment Night" Biohazard and Onyx 4:35 5. I regularly listen to the Grease soundtrack. i sing along in the car, and Greased Lightning is a regular on my my jogging mix. Is this the "Guilty Pleasures" thread?? I too must announce my heterosexuality but lean heavily toward the Broadway show recordings of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Damn Yankees", "Guys and Dolls" and "Cats". As far as movie soundtracks..."The Last of the Mohicans" has an incredible score that really makes you feel the energy of the film. I would add "Bull Durham" as another good soundtrack. IDBillzFan
The Wedding Singer I know it's popular to hate every Adam Sandler movie, but as a 1980 high school graduate, The Wedding Singer was freaking hysterical. Oh, and great soundtracks include Big Night, Little Mermaid, Leaving Las Vegas and Heaven's Prisoners.
