Game week thread - Dolphins at Bills TNF
Long Suffering Fan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The weird thing is that I have never considered Micah unathletic. It might come down to definition. Are we really just talking about speed? He definitely had slowed down near the end. I just keep seeing in my mind the over the head interception at the goal line against the Pats, thinking about how he just decided to score as the hands guy defending the onside kick, him returning kicks, him playing baseball, being such a great safety, etc. He just struck me as a superb athlete. I know that his RAS score is not even close to being good and that Hancock's RAS is elite. Like I said, weird. -
Josh Allen and the Stiff Arm

IIRC Romo chuckled after he whiffed. -
He's actually playing more than I thought he would. 69% Week 1. 55% Week 2 in a blowout.

we're very clearly not talking about right now lol

I'm not sure if this was already posted but - to my surprise - Hawes is PFF's highest graded rookie after two weeks... 1. TE Jackson Hawes, Buffalo Bills (92.7) Hawes followed up a 93.7 PFF overall grade against the Ravens in Week 1 with an 85.3 mark against the Jets in Week 2. He played 35 snaps, primarily as a run blocker, and earned an 84.8 PFF run-blocking grade on zone runs (18 snaps). The fifth-round pick from Georgia Tech is the NFL's highest-graded tight end after Week 2 and ranks as the second-best run blocker at the position (83.1), behind teammate Dawson Knox (90.6). While Hawes has dealt with challenges in man schemes (58.3), he’s been excellent in zone, earning an 85.6 zone PFF run-blocking grade across 23 snaps through two weeks. As a receiver, Hawes has caught both of his targets for 34 yards, 29 of which came in Week 1. www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-2-2025

Game week thread - Dolphins at Bills TNF
Special K replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
If I am counting correctly, the Bills have knocked Tua out of the game 3 times....twice due to injury, and once due to ineffectiveness. I have a feeling we may see number 4 tomorrow. -
Josh will be wearing a visor this week
BuffaloBillyG replied to UConn James's topic in The Stadium Wall
One thing Josh still does have a tendency to do is stare guys down a bit. I wouldn't mind him wearing a tinted one. -
Hey old guys, it's my turn and I want some advice...
Success replied to Just Jack's topic in Off the Wall
Just did it. No real tips - you have to just kind of muscle through the prep. It's definitely not that fun, but the procedure itself is nothing. On the plus side, I lost about 5 pounds, which I really needed to do. -
2018 was a transitional year. The Bills middled 2017. They didn't go all in on a rebuild, they didn't go all in on winning. It worked out and McDermott coached his ass off that year. It was an odd and risky way to do it. But McDermott clearly wanted his buddy in situ as GM before he tied himself to a Quarterback. By 2019 they had to win and they did. He is as good as Stafford, right now. Peak Matt Stafford was a tier above peak Jared Goff. I know he had a good game Sunday, but Stafford isn't still that guy.

Torrence is supposed to block 44. He fails on the Davis run but succeeds on the Cook run. It's that simple.

i don't think the shooters in either city were down played. i saw everything play out on common media. there didn't seem to be any question who they were to me at least. i also go to eastern universities for continuing ed. i see run of the mill common campuses. maybe we see completely different things through our own lenses. i'm not denying it exists at all, but i think were giving some college kids far too much credit on their political motivations. my head isn't in the sand over it, i just don't feel it's at the point were universities are programing their students in droves.

Not unfriendly in the least. No worries. And yeah, if the comparable RAS scores mean anything, Hancock’s athleticism is far superior. But we all know that doesn’t mean much if he can’t come close to Micah’s mastery of the cerebral aspects of the position which, again, is paramount in McD’s scheme of things. Looking forward to seeing Hancock put it all together eventually.

That was the case last week with the 4th qtr being garbage time and also with EO injured. All the starters played 67% vs the ravens iirc. Until Hoecht is available, I think the starters will continue around 67%- at that point, I think the DE’s may rotate more

Good Stats but thinking we should use Targets as opposed to Receptions in this mix to really assess value... Guess is Diggs had way more targets than Sanders with more drops or defended passes... More opportunity to better align the numbers

United Health Care Exec Assassinated in NYC
All_Pro_Bills replied to JFKjr's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If you listen to the statements from the wingnuts protesting on his behalf at the courthouse it would be hard to reach any other conclusion than this was political. The guy's on trial for murder and these simpletons are reciting standard talking points and slogans about how the trial highlights the inequities in the health care system. No it doesn't. -
Do you not realize you contradicted yourself in the first two paragraphs? First paragraph, basically saying the transgender relationship isn’t confirmed. But then state the shooters motive was to protect his love. So which one is it? You don’t want to meet violent terrorists with violence? They are not saying be violent against innocent people, they are saying be violent against terrorists. And you’re against that??? It really sounds like you are a Terrorist sympathizer. I believe in preventative measures to ensure more attacks don’t happen. It seems you don’t. You don’t believe in any measure for this. Sounds like you feel that we should just move on like nothing happened.

Ben Johnson?? Ben Johnson?? LOL
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's my annual reminder that preseason is literally not at all comparable to actual NFL football. When the rookies look good I always remind myself that under the right circumstances, peterman looked good.
