Slowcoach Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I have to say I was hoping for that, but I didn’t necessarily expect it. That was also Billsy! Quote

But the win was almost entirely the result of an offense that scored 5 straight TD's after the porous D let up 24 points in only 5 NE 1st half drives. I think at this point a reasonable expectation for this defense is to get a turnover or two and make a few big stops. They got a few big stops today. Too expect more with Oliver and Hoecht out is probably a long shot. 1 Quote

That's why it doesn't end after half! So proud of these boys this is Key. You just can't look at an NFL play clock and figure a team out after only 2 quarters. The 2nd half heroics are amazing to witness. They are a bit hard on our fan psyche though. Its quite a ride OMG twice in a row they have done this to us Mercy! LOL Its crazy making I get it! But I love the Dub even more Edited 13 hours ago by muppy 3 1 Quote

Good luck with Maye buddy. He might be the next Josh or he might be the next Kirk Cousins. Time will tell. 1 Quote

Dude is taking the opportunity he has, on kick returns, and doing something with it. Curtis Samuel award for a guy it seems we’re better off without: Josh Palmer. Laughing off the false start on third down told me he has no intensity or recognition of the occasion. Re Palmer, he almost blew the game on the terrible RB screen block to Ty. Easy first down and he let’s his guy go through him like he’s not even there. 1 7 Quote

Sestak4ever Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Read responses on a pats fan forum. Many are crying about the refs. All the calls looked legit to me and the refs missing replay on the first drive for the incomplete pass, along with Milano getting called for offsetting penalties when he got punched in the face? No mention of those by their sour grape fans. 1 Quote
RichRiderBills Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Knox has also been a huge surprise. He's got a great role. 1 Quote

This team is extremely erratic and need to put it together all 4 quarters and be consistent. Nice comeback win, but not a recipe for long playoff success. The general concern makes sense and is definitely valid for sure but they just played like that today against the 1/2 seed coming off a bye in a playoff atmosphere game in which Mack hollins was high pointing balls in the first half and still won on the road to be fair lol People are talkin like we just did it against some mediocre team which may be true but if this pats team is mediocre so is the whole afc field it’s concerning but I don’t really know who’s putting them away after a bad half on the afc side…maybe the ravens if they put it together? Baltimore has had a disappointing season, but maybe they have enough to beat New England on a good day. That would net the Bills a tie in the division. I'm not sure what the next tie breaker is, probably division record, which goes to New England, I think. New England's last game in the season is against Miami. That's the next chance for New England to lose, albeit a small one. Miami has not been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs yet so at least they're not among the bottom feeders at this point. 2 Quote
Nihilarian Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago You know what this means? Stephon Diggs happened to do his best impression of...the Invisible Man! 3 receptions for 26 yards! AND, I can thoroughly enjoy watching the morning football talk shows tomorrow 🤩 Quote

The only really weak call IMO was the DPI against Coleman. Not weak - grabbed him, likely catches it without DB pulling himself close! Quote

fergie's ire Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago In the first half the Bills did all the things that make for the bad bills...and then in the second half they did almost none of it (exceptions were the long Patriots touchdown run and the three and out). First half: bad head coaching (not going on 4th when Patriots couldn't be stopped and not challenging a bad call), bad play calling (predictable, giving up on deep shot after one goes wrong), Defense (overrunning plays, poor tackling, not getting off on 3rd), Offense (receivers not getting open and/or dropping, no time for Josh, Josh off target). Then, in the second half they had the juggernaut offense and a defense that gets timely stops or turnovers. It was like watching 2 different teams. 2 Quote
NewEra Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I’m so mentally, emotionally and physically exhausted . So much that I want to say, but I can’t put forth the effort. Just a helluva team effort in the 2nd half. McDermott really turned it around 2 2 Quote
