The Chiefs right now are pry the best they've been since 2022 as they're remarkably healthy.  Amazing how much better they got once Rice and Worthy returned.  I expect a 10 point loss if we're without Palmer and Kincaid.  Chiefs will be more successful like the Pats were at stopping the run and I don't trust leaning on our passing game right now.  It might be different come playoff time though.

We gotta let it rip and hope for the best!

No time for “Oh we needed this for the conference seedlings” etc etc

Leave it on the field and move on Monday no matter what

I think the Bills will make a statement here if the coaches don’t overthink it

My vibe is several of these options.

In order of priority:

1) I care most about HOW we play. Been saying this even in those first 4 early wins.

2) It very much is a must-win for home field advantage, or any chance we have of getting it over the Pats & Colts

3) A loss would be devastating, especially if Allen looks bad.

But yes, we have won in the past & it hasn't really mattered. We either lost other games to put us behind in the standings, lost to them in the playoffs or both.

However, losing to them doesn't mean we'll magically reverse the results & win in the playoffs, so ultimately I just care how they play more than anything.

This is a tough one.  Mahomes is making quick decisions and I don't see our D-Line getting to him quickly enough to take the pressure off our secondary.   I expect Josh to be fired up, but  he may have to play the Superman role if the Chiefs shut down the running game.  If we're creative on offense and the D has a great game, I think it could be close.  If we let Mahomes get into a rhythm, I'm not sure we have the weapons to keep up. Lots of iff's.  I think this game will tell a lot about what this team is made of, coaches included, win or lose.

I want the win. I want to win the division. I want the get the #1 seed. I want Allen to win MVP, and Cook to win OPOTY.

I think we can do it, KC looks vulnerable. They don't have as much devil magic as last season.

KC seems to be anointed again, perhaps rightfully so. With no clear leader of the pack in either division, you have to bank on scheme and high leverage plays winning the day. Yet here we are, the vibe being somewhat different at the moment. Our season is very, very, far from over but with great expectations come great disappointment, which is where a lot of fans seem to be coming from. I'm just trying to get a general read on the fan base with this poll. Understood I don't have every option covered, try and pick the one you feel is most accurate.

Just look the part. Results don’t quite matter yet. Just prove we are in the same league and can grit out a win when it matters.

KC beat the Lions at home only with big help from the refs; they should have lost that game. Then the beat the Raiders (wow) and the Commanders without Daniels. I don't see a juggernaut. But neither do I see lesser team than last year. It's the Bills that have changed. Their defense has gotten a lot weaker, and the passing game is positively alarming, no sugarcoating that. On the other hand, the newcomers on D and McDermott helping to call plays might be enough to overhaul the defense, and maybe Cook and the run game will provide enough offense. I say that last part with much less confidence. The Patriots and Falcons showed the league how to stop the Bills: stack the box and blitz Allen like crazy. With this receiving crew, that's just printing money. I really thought Brady and Allen would have it figured out after the bye, but the Panthers game showed they haven't, at least not yet.

I will be surprised and delighted if they win. But with the shell of Allen we've been seeing and Brady calling plays, I think there's a greater chance they'll be embarrassed. Maybe that's a good thing. Like others, I'm tired of them beating the Chiefs in the regular season and losing in the playoffs. Maybe it'll be the reverse this year.

Shell of Allen??

Thats pretty harsh.  Some of you on here talk about Josh like he is Nate Peterman 2.0.  He hasn’t been great. But he certainly hasn’t sucked.  If anything blame Brady for his conservative game plans and unwillingness to send guys deep.  And Beane for putting together a joke of a receiving group that has very limited ability.

But this team will be ready come Sunday.  These are grown men who are a proud bunch.  I think we see a revved up group on both sides of the ball.  And have a solid chance to win.

My vibe is KC is a buzz saw right now. I want the bills to win, but I’m not sure we can beat them. We have the advantage in that they’re on a short week and traveling.

I expect a loss, so any win will be awesome. What I want to see is an effective, ball control, rushing game with a dominant defensive effort. I’m not sure this team, in its current state, can handle these guys, but I don’t think it’s impossible the bills can surpass them by the end of the season. I’d like to see a competitive effort, no injuries, and a good game.

Not me personally but this is the board reaction for sure.

We Win ....hey thats awesome but we've seen this show before ......We lose. .....the world is falling apart and we can never beat the Chiefs and make a SB. I think that about sums it up.

My choice wasn't listed:

Must win in our quest to finish atop the AFCE!

Beyond that, I'd like to see that our run game and defensive performance were no single-game mirages.  I'd also like to see an effective downfield passing attack.  If we get all that, I'll be happy Bills mafioso!

What will be, will be. It's a game and a bit of fun. No point getting angry or upset over something you can't control. Win and it's ace. Lose and it's shrug and on to the next one.

I've no desire to be proved right about anything so have little stake on that front.

I thought about the poll, and it depends on several factors.

Does Hairston’s play increase as well need it against KC’s speedy receivers?

Does Hoecht and Ogunjobi continue to make a nice impact on our defense?

Does Palmer come back so we don’t have to run the entire offense through Cook?  I love Cook, but if they shut him down to even an avg. day, we are no match the way our WRs are separating to keep up with their WRs.

These are just some matters, and I’m sure there are others.  Moore better get on the same page with JA and be used effectively downfield.  None of this end around crap, nir 1yard off the LOS.  I also hope Kinkaid can keep getting healthier as he is very impactful over the middle along with Shakir.  Our once open downfield threat is what we desperately need.

Chiefs look like a juggernaut at this moment in time and we can barely compete a forward pass.

Im not optimistic, but have a strange feeling it clicks.. because it’s KC.. and that will get Josh out of his slump and ignite something.. anything.. in this passing game.

A loss doesn’t concern me in regards to the one seed if we play well but lose a close one as I don’t believe in Indy yet and we’d have the same loss column as KC, but I’ll start to get concerned that NE might take the division as their schedule is just so easy and they don’t look like they have any intention of fumbling the layups.

Let's not go overboard here.

The Chiefs are 5-3 and averaging 26.75 points per game. The Chiefs are averaging 378.3 offensive yards/game.

The Bills are 5-2 and averaging 29.57 points per game. The Bills are averaging 382.9 offensive yards/game.

The Chiefs are on a 3-game win streak and the Bills lost two of their last three, so the current optics may not look great, but things are not as bad as you paint them out to be. I do agree with you about Josh though. I don't know if he is in a funk or whatever, as some seem to think, but if anything can get him out of it and get his competitive juices flowing, it is a game against Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Yes, the Bills are only 14th in passing yards per game (which seems low for a Josh Allen team), but we are #1 in the league in rushing yards (by a good bit) and 4th in scoring (only one point per game below 2nd and 3rd place, Dallas and Detroit, respectively).

The Chiefs are 5th in passing yards/game, 9th in rushing yards per game, and 7th in points scored.

Obviously, their defense is currently better (but our defense showed some life vs. Carolina, and looks to be improving---despite the loss of Oliver):

Chiefs: 2nd in points allowed/game; 4th in yards allowed/game.

Bills: 9th in points allowed/game; 12th in yards allowed/game.

And then the Bills have homefield advantage.

I expect it, as almost all of their games have gone, to be a close battle with one of the teams pulling it out late in the 4th quarter. Per usual, I would give the odds for each team at 50/50. But my heart thinks the Bills will take this one.
