DD4Bills Posted Monday at 02:45 PM Posted Monday at 02:45 PM I have no heartburn with the halftime performer. He's a huge name in the music biz. NFL is chasing dollars, which is it all it really cares about these days. 2 hours ago, Augie said: ….and I’ll be taking a leak, so who am I to complain? For 15 minutes?? Damn, man, time to get the ole prostate checked. 1 Quote
Bruffalo Posted Monday at 02:50 PM Posted Monday at 02:50 PM Once again Gwar is snubbed for the halftime show because the NFL are cowards. It would be the greatest half time show of all time. For real though, Bad Bunny is a popular choice and it makes sense as he'll draw in an important demographic for the NFL. Not for me, but anyone who grouses about the Super Bowl half time show seriously needs to get some perspective. 2 1 Quote
JESSEFEFFER Posted Monday at 02:54 PM Posted Monday at 02:54 PM Now that I am 63, I am finding that I do not need to be reminded on a daily basis that I am old and out-of-touch by the popular media. That's what teenagers are for. Quote

Walking Tall Posted Monday at 03:09 PM Posted Monday at 03:09 PM (edited) Couldn’t care less who it is. Halftime is for other things than watching entertainers. Booze, food and broads come to mind. Though just booze and food for me since I have a ball and chain. Edited Monday at 03:10 PM by Walking Tall Quote

Man, people this out of touch with popular music should really sit this one out. They’re seemingly quite relevant now in WNY … an area that, for better or worse, is usual a decade behind in most things currently relevant 1 Quote

Heitz Posted Monday at 03:38 PM Posted Monday at 03:38 PM Literally one of the biggest artists in the world and one of the most streamed artists on Spotify for the past 5 years. Little too dance music for me, but I totally get the choice. 🤷♂️ No one was going to bring in Smashing Pumpkins, LCD Soundsystem or the Clipse just for me, sadly. Quote

somnus00 Posted Monday at 04:32 PM Posted Monday at 04:32 PM BS. Some rock band that used to be part of my workout playlist from 20 years ago should be the halftime show. Seriously, why do people get upset about these things? Bad Bunny has been a huge music star for the past few years. He has cross-over appeal in US acting (SNL and Happy Gilmore 2). He makes bass heavy music with beats and rhythms that make people want to dance. And he's in a large demographic that the NFL has been trying to trap into. This makes a ton of sense and I'm not even a fan of his (though I'll admit my hips will move a bit when my wife puts his music on). Quote

paulmm3 Posted Monday at 04:34 PM Posted Monday at 04:34 PM Heard the name Bad Bunny before but couldn't name any songs. I'm 37 and I bet most my age or older are in a similar boat. I also heard he doesn't really sing in English and sings in Spanish instead. Poor halftime show choice it seems like but not a big deal. Quote
Malazan Posted Monday at 04:41 PM Posted Monday at 04:41 PM (edited) I've never seen a superbowl halftime show I cared a wit about whether it was someone I liked or not so I can't care about who they get to play it. If there's people out there that like the guy then more power to everyone who will enjoy it. Edited Monday at 04:41 PM by Malazan Quote
