Just watched the highlights of the Panthers/Pats game.  A few observations:

 - That game was decided on special teams.  Their returner is dynamic, and containing him has to be a focus.  Of course, not needing to punt would help.

 - The Panthers are a genuinely bad team. I was worried when I saw the score, and the Pats were still impressive - but it's like they were playing a JV team.

 - Maye was solid, not great.  He had some nice chunk throws, but on the ones they highlighted, receivers were wide open.  It made me jealous to see WR's get that kind of separation

I feel like the Bills took the Saints lightly today, and let them hang around longer than they should have.  They have to go into next week's game w/ the mindset that this team is their biggest competition for the division. As someone said above, a W basically makes that a moot point.  Glad we're home.

I'd like to see the offense open up a bit. I understand a balanced offense approach, and Cook is tearing it up, but this offense lacks flare and creativity lately. Games we thought, and maybe should have been easy, haven't been.

Relax guys; I just put $10 on Pats moneyline at +560 with one of those boost promos. Bills win has been guaranteed. Doing the Lord’s work here.

Sometimes They over think it on offence with running/clock control. Just put the game in Josh Allen's hands.. In no world should Josh Allen have only 19 pass attempts late in the 4th quarter.

You got the best player in the game. Call plays accordingly to that, like we saw in the last TD drive today

This is actually kind of a big one.  Win and the division is all but over, lose and it’s a one game lead and no tiebreaker.  5-0 would also really make the rest of the field feel like chasers for the 1 seed.

I wouldn’t say win and the division is over but win and that’s gonna be a 3 game lead with a tie breaker possibly in hand. It would basically set the Bills up to have a dominant lead in the division.

That being said the Pats have a super soft schedule this year. If they pull off the upset they don’t have many harder games on the schedule. Just a game behind they could make it a close division race the rest of the way.

Bills got to bury the Pats this is by far the biggest game of the year

As others have noted, when Philly plays Tampa Bay, both will be 3-0.  The 3-0 LA Chargers play the NY Giants. There should be at least two 4-0 teams after next Sunday, and it is more likely that there will be 3.  The only ways there could end up being just one is if Philly ties Tampa or both Indy and Buffalo lose.  Neither outcome is likely.

Well a solid prediction.

Just saw that TJ Sanders has one solo tackle all year. ONE. With the amount of rushing attempts this team has seen, he’s gotta be monumentally better.

This is a legitimate question, do DTs get a lot of solo tackles?

The good ones are usually around 35 solo for the year, roughly 2 per game. Deone Walker has 6 solo, Daquan has 4. I don’t know Sanders snap count, but I think he’s been on the field as much as those two and is producing far less.

They are doing that so people bet on the Patriots.

Bills ate better. But that point spread is too big.

Yeah I was thinking 6.5 before I seen that 9.5… I was surprised.

Pats have speed and it looks like they were doing a good job of spreading the field and opening things up plus there was always a

good dump off player waiting for maye to take advantage of.

I thought there offense looked pretty clean and in sync.

Haven't really seen much Pats football this year. I did see some scary punt returns in the highlights today. Maye seems like a legit QB. Vrabel is a damn good head coach IMO. He will have that team playing physical football.

My take is we’re gonna lose next week. With the current standings, our opponents to date have a combined 3-15 record. Our thrilling opening night comeback vs B’more turns out to be just like the last 3 games. Very flawed teams who woulda/coulda/shoulda won! Ravens are now 1-3 on merit and now Lamar is hobbled. The Pats* are 2-2 and just had a dominating victory over Carolina. Drake Maye is more polished than Josh was in his sophomore season. “HIM” had a TD & over 100 yrds receiving. They already know they’re the only team in the Division who can rival the Bills and we’re not even in October! They annihilated the Panthers as a tune up for Buffalo while showing the League they are legit! They know the chump change we’ve escaped tell the story WE also know. That we have an all-timer at QB, an impressive RB and 51 Jimmy’s and Joe’s who are easily fooled and allow their opponents to gouge them all day, choosing only to defend the deep third. They know we suck at tackling and playing Man in coverage and only Bosa is a threat to disrupt the pass. Yesterday showed more about how bad the Aints are than the perceived good the Bills are.
Go ahead Sean. Sit good players who CAN go -if needed, again. If Allen was bummed the last time the stadium emptied out in the 4th quarter, he’s in for a shock next week. It’s likely gonna look like the Covid year -imo.

A Miami or New Orleans effort will likely result in an "L".   I am starting to worry that that is who we are.
