sven233 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Had to do a double take. Seriously thought that was McDermott in the photo for some reason. Anyway, I am all for getting better at punter. Hopefully this guy is better. As for all the other players they worked out, I am not sure what they are looking for specifically. Would have been nice to get Peppers in here as I think he would have immediately become the best Safety in the room, but alas it wasn't meant to be. At this point, I am all about Beane spending the next few weeks on the phone trying to find the most dominant run stuffing DT he can find. We may not need him for a bit, but we will need him for the Playoffs. So, Beane.....start shopping! 1 Quote

BuffaloBillsGospel2014 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Can he stop the run, sack the QB or intercept a pass is all I want to know. Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I wish we worried about defense as much as we worry about STs. Probably have 2 rings by now if there was an ounce of accountability on that side of the ball 2 Quote

Is working out 9 players a normal thing after a week one game? BTW, 3 Punters, 3 DBs, 3 DLs. They were looking in the right direction. Edited September 9 by Tulsabillsfanz 1 Quote
chris heff Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Since I don’t believe we will punt again, I’m guessing Cameron is good at ball holding. 1 Quote

I was about to say… why the heck didn’t we identify Robbins as a problem all pre-season and camp and finally make a move now… 3 hours ago, Low Positive said: See, that's a valuable contribution to this message board that will get overlooked because it gets in the way of people complaining about Beane. Not sure they would do this type of thing over punter money. We have a punter problem but let’s wait until the season starts to save a few bucks if that new punter doesn’t work out either. Quote

Max Fischer Posted September 10 Posted September 10 (edited) 24 minutes ago, Cuboirs said: Punter is not the problem it's Safety......smh The Week 1 punting was indeed a problem. The Team ID a better kicker and the change may not have cost them an extra dime. All-in-all, pretty good. As for safety, that’s a MUCH trickier issue. Not so easy to upgrade/plug and play. Best to see how the next few weeks progress without making a rash (and potentially costly) change. Edited September 10 by Max Fischer 1 Quote
