Fleezoid Posted September 3 Posted September 3 (edited) Bills trying to figure out their D. Too many changes to be really good. And they have to be really good for first game in. They come out a bit flat.  Bills 27 Ravens 34   Edited September 3 by Fleezoid 2 Quote
BillsPride12 Posted September 3 Posted September 3 This game makes me nervous. I hope I'm wrong but I think we get outplayed in a slugfest but we keep it close in score with a couple big plays made by Allen Right now I can see something like 27-20 Ravens 1 1 Quote
frostbitmic Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Them - 34 Us   - 24  The Offense starts the first half in neutral and trails 27-3 at the half before waking up in the 2nd half.  I get not playing your starters in the preseason to prevent injuries but if they start out against the Ravens like they did against the Cards last year (Rusty), they won't come back for the V.  The Ravens and the Eagles are probably the only teams I'd have the Bills losing to week #1 1 1 Quote
Billl Posted September 3 Posted September 3 (edited) Ravens 31 Bills 22 Â Buffalo was +3 in the turnover margin in the playoff game and squeaked out a win after Andrews dropped a gimme 2 pt conversion at the end. Â During the regular season, the turnover margin was even, and Baltimore won 35-10. Â Bills will need to be +2 to win, IMO. Â Last season, they were historically good at +24 during the regular season and +4 in the postseason. Â I expect that to move substantially towards the mean this season. Â I expect the Bills defense by seasons end to be very good and the dline to really dominate... with that said right now the Ravens have a Bills secondary that is a mess at CB and Safety pls the defensive line isn't jelled at this point. Like you said turnover wise your not getting cold and snow so the Bills offense has to play ball control and hope the defense can force a few 3 and outs. Bills defense has performed above the mean turnover wise since McD, but I would be stunned if they get 2 turnovers let alone 3 so yea its tough sledding. Â I am holding off my prediction until I see the injury report Friday as the Ravens are already out Likely & Alexander, but if Ricard is out and the Bills are healthier on defense my opinion will change. The blue print for the Bills right now is basically the same as it was in January to beat Baltimore, whereas the Ravens can win a few different ways at this moment. 1 Quote
