  1. I was at the heat stroke game last year and it was unreal the # of Bills fans. Kinda fun to hear so much cheering when the away team scores. I can only imagine yesterday was even more than that.
  2. I agree with the OP in general and wanted to add a few points. First, it’s a bit unrealistic to say that BUF has lacked talent on the roster for years. Making the playoffs 4/5 years? That’s not an easy feat! I believe there is a recency bias as to judging the team right now, and rightfully so, I am also disappointed. However some perspective is needed to see the consistent success this team has had. I think the Cincinnati game exposed a schematic flaw in both our offense and defense. What was baffling to me was that the coaches didn’t appear to make any adjustments! They just basically moved the ball at will, as we made no apparent adjustments to their offense. I don’t understand this at all. It may have been a “bad day” as far as we didn’t get any lucky bounces, but I think the coaching was a bit flawed. When the season began and the Bills were Super Bowl favorites, I was legit concerned. Winning a superbowl has a very low probability, as 31 NFL teams can confirm every year. And we as a fan base had this “Super Bowl or bust “ mentality, which I think the players fed into as well. We set ourselves up for the disappointment and heartbreak we experienced on Sunday. I don’t know how/when this team can get over the playoff hump, but I am confident that the management, coaches and players will do their best. I expect more off-season moves to try to reach this goal. Some people will criticize them, some people will love them, but the stadium will still be packed and we will have hope again in September, because we aren’t fair weather fans, we support our team no matter how terrible or great they are.
  3. This thread is all speculation. Nobody here knows JA’s situation except him and the team. As for his recent performances, I think the expectations are a bit unrealistic. If JA doesn’t throw for over 300 and 4 tds something is wrong with him. This is the NFL dude, not madden. The Bills are winning. Enjoy it. And everything will work itself out. Go Bills
  4. https://www.weather.gov/buf/ Refer to national weather service for most accurate predictions. All other weather forecasting companies forecasts are generated from NWS data. Looks like its going to be an interesting weekend in Buffalo!
  5. I remember last year at one point we were 7-6 and the crowd here was calling to sell the team. Fast forward to “the perfect game” in the playoffs vs NE and all was forgotten. Chill people, this is life, things are unpredictable and every team is capable of winning at any given time. The Bills are not as bad as you think. I believe everyone who is very upset about this loss needs to take a 3 day break from Bills media. It will help immensely to see the big picture
  6. For some reason I just found this thread and wanted to share my experience. I grew up in FL; I know heat and humidity. I went to University of Miami for undergrad, I have been at Hardrock many, many times. I was at the game last week, seated on Visitor side, 30 yard line, in the sun the entire game. It was absolutely unbearable being in the sun. Heat is one thing, and everyone in the stadium feels heat, but to be in the sun is an entirely different experience. I would estimate the "feel" temperature of being in the sun was probably 20 degrees or more higher compared to the shaded portions of the stadium. There was zero cloud cover the entire game. I know people want to downplay the effects of the stadium design, but the reality is that it Definitely makes a huge difference to have one team in the sun and the other in the shade. Also, this is the tropics... the sun is stronger than in NY or higher latitudes due to the angle of being closer to the equator. Buffalo brought out these dinky little PVC shades, but those only covered a small area of the bench. Players standing on the sidelines received no benefit. In years prior there was cloud cover which provided relief. The NFL absolutely needs to address this issue. If it makes no difference why doesn't Miami have their bench in sun? It's because it does make a difference.
