Yes, there is always a reason and the Raiders had to have one with Lofton which is why they released him. The fact that he worked out for the Bills is the outlier. The Pats have a reason for releasing Peppers. But the question is - will he be a bed bug or an outlier? Me thinks bed bug. Edited Friday at 07:21 PM by BuffaloMatt Quote

Didn't know he had legal issues. If he was taking PED's Beane would consider it. 6 Quote

He’s a much better defensive player than Codrington & just as good of a punt returner. A no brainer to go get him & replace him for Codrington. 2 hours ago, gonzo1105 said: I’ll give Vrabel and Wolf this, they are cleaning house on guys that don’t fit what Vrabel wants or expects. Give him Codrington's roster spot. Let him be your punt returner while he learns the defense. Our defensive staff would find a way to make good use of his defensive versatility. As a third safety or dime backer in certain coverages, he'd be useful. 💯💯💯💯💯 1 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted Friday at 07:42 PM Posted Friday at 07:42 PM I’ll pass on Peppers, yes he’s better than out depth safeties but he’s also going to cost infinite amount more than Hamlin and Hancock combined plus he and Rapp on the field makes less sense than Rapp and Bishop does already 3 Quote

VW82 Posted Friday at 08:13 PM Posted Friday at 08:13 PM (edited) Could see him as a Bungal. Also, I don't see him as a replacement for Hamlin so we'd have to release someone and we already have that problem with Max, Grable, Hoecht, and Ogunjobi. Edited Friday at 08:16 PM by VW82 1 Quote

Solid but it seems the narrative is that the Pats will be significantly better because of him. I think they will have improved because they have better players with an evolving QB. In his prime Tannehill was a solid QB. Peppers does not fit the mold of the new more athletic S.. not sure the Bills have one either🤷🏻♂️.. it’s supposed to be Bishop. 1 Quote

An oft injured slower in the box safety I don’t think aligns with Bills needs. 1 Quote

The one that loses in the playoffs every freaking year. 1 Quote
