It's interesting that McDermott changed his approach on Josh playing in the preseason.  I'd prefer a few series to knock some rest off but I get it.  It's a long season and the less hits he takes before week 1 the better.

This year, their coach has the starters playing much more of the pre-season.

Josh doesn't need the reps - but he does need some reps with Palmer, Moore and even Kincaid in pre season game action. I'm surprised we don't get one series. Oh well, here's to hoping we come out strong Sunday night vs the Ravers.

This is how I see it.  It's not about Josh or any of the first string offense proving anything.  It seems though they would benefit with some game time together, prior to facing the Ravens.  I expected to see the starters getting 2 series this week just to get in sync a bit… shows you what I know!

They got plenty of reps together in camp and even reps together in the joint practices with the Bears. Don't think an additional 10-12 snaps against the Bucs second team defense is all that important.

Allen is doing everything, including putting on the cape many times, trying to win Buffalo a Super Bowl.  It’s not Josh’s fault that we have lost in the Playoffs.

 

 Defense need to get sacks, stops, and turnovers, when it matters. It’s Hard to Win in the NFL.  It’s a game of margins.  Receivers must not only catch the ball, but in playoffs, WR might have to make David Tyree ***** clutch catch’s.
