Yes, the defense is playing vanilla. That's not the issue, though.

 

Too many players are not where they are supposed to be. Losing contain. Mental errors. Lots of guys having a rough night

Why not play guys who actually need the reps, and will be depth on the roster? Herndon will not.

There’s no doubt the Giants and Bears really want these preseason wins badly for culture.  But you get the feeling the Bills guys read there press clippings and think they’re hot stuff.  They aren’t taking these games seriously and it will cost some guys their careers
