JMM Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Yea we think this EVERY year. Then he flashes to start the year, settles down as the season progresses and then is a ghost in the playoffs. We will see.... 1 2 Quote
eball Posted August 13 Posted August 13 I don’t know…with Cook now signed doesn’t that mean Ed is up for the role of “next whipping boy” on TBD? 2 Quote

BillsPride12 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 They say Bruce used to eat 75 wings a sitting at the Big Tree....Ed has some work to do Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Honestly with Ed, he beats up young/poor OGs and is always a TC star that gets everyone hyped. He disappears vs good OGs. Elite athlete and only 27, but kind of feels like a guy who will have a few very good seasons (stat wise) sprinkled in rather than a very good career. Crazy to see he's been over 5 sacks in his career twice and double digit TFL twice. Quote

GolfandBills Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Seems like this thread pops up every year… he’s only eaten a little of the food we left out for him Quote
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Color me skeptical, but i'll believe it when i see it. 1 Quote
billsfan89 Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Ed is a very good player, he has just yet to take that leap forward to becoming a dominant player. Hopefully this year he can take that last step up he needs to. I don't know if it will happen but there's ever a year he could do it why not now? Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Well I'm certainly glad to hear Ed will eat. He definitely would not have the energy to produce on the field if he went on a hunger strike. At least he won't slim down like Kincaid. This is fantastic news! 1 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted August 13 Posted August 13 Thinking Ed Oliver is going to have an even better year, because of a look, is dumb. It truly doesn't matter. Looks don't sack QB’s. Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted August 14 Posted August 14 (edited) I always thought that Ed would be a late bloomer Edited August 14 by JakeFrommStateFarm Quote
beerme1 Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I expect good things from my man Ed. Glory year for him. Or just average with peaks and valleys. Quote
BuffaloRebound Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Bosa looked awesome on Saturday. That should help everybody on the D Line. If he stays healthy, we haven’t had a dude like that since Mario or maybe the 11 games before Von tore his ACL Quote
