You got to upgrade to the 16.99 version on prime to watch it live. I think when its over you'll be able to watch it later with commercials. At least I did. I gave in but ill be wathing a bunch of other things too so decided no commercials was worth it for me.

I lived in the Baltimore area for four years, so it may stir memories.

Spoiler alert, season 1 of The Wire was solid, not spectacular, just solid. Season 2 was a TOTAL bore, seasons 3 & 4 are the meat and potatoes of the show. Absolutely great stuff with some calling season 4 the best written season in TV history (I’m more partial to 3). Season 5 was back to being okay.

It's on HBO live, like ol fashioned TV, at 9pm. It doesnt come out on streaming (MAX) until after it airs. Either at like 10pm tonight, or tomorrow. I forget which.

I thought it was a decent start. Hoping for a much more in depth looks into the classroom and discussions with players, film, etc

I watched it live streaming on the HBO MAX app on my Apple TV.  I also found it on Roku in featured series.

Solid first episode, but standard fare for Hard Knocks. Show how the last season ended, then all the players coming back, greeting/hugging each other, finally getting pads back on, etc, etc.  Will definitely get more dramatic towards cut days.  I hope there's a "rookie show"
