I mean you could say Jeff Wright over Kyle Williams if you're stuck in that time frame. Speaking of which, did the mod punish me for something I didn't know about as my posts keep getting deleted. But to say at this point he is definitively the best Bills player ever over Bruce and/or OJ is kind of silly. I would ask if you are old enough to have watched Jerry Butler. Because those who watched him know he was much better than Lee Evans. Same with Lofton. I watched them both, although I was younger when Butler was playing, so my memory of him is less. As far as Lofton goes, its not about whose career was better IMO, it was who was the better Bills player. If it was who had the best career, than yes its Lofton...but then in that case, Owens over takes all of them. In terms of who was the greatest Bills players, as in when they played here, then for me early and prime Lee Evans was definitely better than end of career Lofton. I think people forget how good Evans really was, he gets short changed a bit because he played in a bad era of Bills football. Yet he is still the Bills 3rd all time leading WR despite the bad teams and bad QB's he played with. He would have put up crazy numbers had he got to play with Allen during his prime. Quote

Dion Dawkins is in my mind the best LT this team has ever had and could be the greatest OL we have ever had. Many may disagree with that, but he locks it down covering his QBs blind spot, something I have not seen since Will Wolford was a Bill. Bruce Smith Josh Allen O.J. Simpson Thurman Thomas Andre Reed Jim Kelly Butch Byrd Eric Moulds Billy Shaw James Lofton Dion Dawkins Cornelius Bennett Ted Washington Mike Stratton Darryl Talley this is the list. 1 Quote

That D back then was loaded. Other guys like Stratton, Dunaway, McDole, Edgerson, Saimes. 1 Quote

Both played 4 seasons for Buffalo. Statistically, Diggs absolutely destroys Lofton by the numbers. Lofton may have been the better "Bill" but Diggs stat wise was by far the better player. Quote
RyanC883 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Allen should be 1. I saw the 90’s teams and he would have been the best player in those teams. Bruce a close number 2. Kelly 3 perhaps. 5 hours ago, Kirby Jackson said: Bills Diggs is absolutely ahead of the Bills version of Lofton. It’s not close. One was the guy and the other was a role player. If you want to argue Reed over Diggs, okay, but no chance on Lofton. Moulds is in an interesting one as well but I’d probably have Bills Diggs over him. In my lifetime (at least that I remember): Reed, Diggs, Moulds, Stevie, Lofton, Beasley Moulds with Allen would have been something. Quote
JK Fan Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I am surprised, given the love of Doug Flutie in Bills Mafia, that he is not on anybody's list. Don't get me wrong, I do not think he deserves to be there, but I thought someone would suggest he should be there. 1 Quote
