That is tough one.   I think the number is around $250K.  Anything less would not change my life much.  Would just use it to pay down the house or something like that so nothing really changes.   An SB win though would really help my joy coefficient on a daily basis.

Lmao yeah I could care less about $500

The only thing I truly want is my mother and father who have been watching since inception... And truly love the bills

I just want them to see a championship before they go

I want it for my mom and dad more than myself and I do want it

My parents met at a random super bowl a long time ago and I think that's fate

Very well put as I am most likely your parents age or older  .. Saw my first game in 1960.. 8 yrs old.. and want ONE BEFORE i die too..

I think that putting a specific price tag on this doesn’t work. It depends too much on each individual’s financial status, age, and level of greed. The real question should be, is there ANY amount of money you’d take for the Bills never win a Super Bowl? I love this team, but if your answer is no, you’re too insanely devoted imo.

Fun topic.   However, I think setting the amount at $500 is similar to setting the over/under for a Bills Lions game at 11.  That, of course, begs the question of me.    What amount would I propose as a difficult choice?    My answer is $12 grand.   Not because I’m fancy or rich, but because I have dozens of deep personal relationships with friends and family, in Buffalo and elsewhere, where Bills fandom is one of the most powerful mutual bonds.    A Super Bowl win would bring months of joy and years of satisfaction.

What’s the $12k up against? No SB win for how long? Life? 1 season?

Or better yet, what’s everyone’s individual number for no SB in your lifetime? What about your and your kids’ lifetime? Assume tax-free/after tax for ease of discussion.

This isa great question, and as someone just said, it depends on age.

If you're 30, you might actually come up with a number that would leave you set for life, something that would give you financial security.  On the other hand, you'd be condemning yourself to a lifetime of no Super Bowls.  And actually, that number could be lower than you think, because you'd have a betting advantage in Las Vegas, knowing in advance that the Bills wouldn't win it all.  You'd be 1/32 better off than all other bettors.

If you're old like me and have enough money to live on for the rest of your life (well, I hope so), then the money becomes less and less important, eventually completely unimportant.  I suppose I might take $20 million or more, so I could set up my kids for life, but they're doing fine right now and probably will be okay even if they don't inherit a bundle from me.

Maybe if the deal is I get $10 billion, I'd take it.  Then I'd buy the Bills from the Pegulas, change their name to the Buffalo Bylls and go win some Super Bowls. After all, the deal was the Bills wouldn't win, not the Bylls.
