Guys get hurt in the summer. I don't like it but this stuff happens every year to every team. For all we know he wouldn't v=even have come out of a real game because of this.

I'd bet most of these "injuries" would have players not even missing practices if it were the regular season. They're *incredibly* pre-cautionary with things this time of year.

 

If someone says "eh, i'm feeling a little tight but I'm good to go" they're gonna say "sit the f-ck down".

I wouldn’t describe that as simply “being hurt his senior year at Kentucky.” It was a rare and unfortunate medical situation, not a reflection of durability. Prior to that, he had only missed one game in his entire college career. It’s akin to saying Tyrod Taylor is injury prone because the Chargers team doctor punctured his lung before a game.

Tre White was horrendous in 2024 and Dane Jackson was worse........arguably the worst CB in the entire NFL last year.   He had a 33.9 pff grade. 

 

I had to laugh when I perused the Sammy Watkins trade thread a while back and you chimed in about how good Jordan Matthews was.   

 

Have you ever thought that a player the Bills have wasn't better than one they no longer had? 😂

After watching the video that doesn’t look like anything serous. He will have 5 weeks off until training camp. I think all will be ok by then.

Yeah, it's hard to believe that the Bills would have him around on the sideline if there was any suspicion it could be a torn ACL.  That would seem to leave a pulled ligament or muscle.

I will be really curious to see how Tre does in camp. He looked washed last year. But maybe an extra year away from that Achilles will get him back to a serviceable level?

The system is very kind to CB’s. We’re gonna be ok. A “serious camp battle” will be Jackson and Ingram vying for the last CB spot. The loser spends time on the practice squad until a season ending injury occurs.

I know nobody wants to hear or believe this (including myself). It was a thought it my head about a month ago, but now, with this news, I’m going to officially make the call:

 

Dorian Strong wins the job over Hairston.

 

it’s Kaiir Elam vs Benford all over again. Guys both players were even drafted in the same rounds I mean come on we did it to ourselves 🤣

I'd take Rasul over all three without hesitation and I would hate the idea of him being our CB2.  The Rams gave Tre a $3.25m guaranteed and he was so bad they just released him mid season.  Dane Jackson was historically bad last year and the Panthers are now eating $1.5m in dead cap space.  We know nothing about Strong yet besides him being a 6th round pick.  If Hairston doesn't get the starting role look for a CB trade around week 7.

Accuracy/efficacy is not nearly as important as ensuring LLMs are intrinsically embedded in ALL digital products.

It's entirely possible that Strong could be initially better suited to the boundary role opposite Benford. And/or the Bills could platoon 2 or even 3 guys extensively. Back in the early McD years, they rotated heavily opposite Tre White.

I respectfully disagree,  Rasul was awful, just watch the tape and not 1 team has signed him! They all saw how terrible he was.

To be fair , he was a beast 2 years ago but fell off a cliff for some reason last year

I think injuries and age caught up to him.  Seems like he didn't have game status  but showed up on injury report for his knee during the season, then he injured his back and missed 2 1/2 games near the end of the season.

 

That said, he had 6 tackles and clinched the Ravens playoff win with an onside kick recovery, so there is some ingratitude here.

But yeah, Douglas may have looked washed, but so did Tre White and Jackson.  White and Douglas were both better players in their day, but...
