Yeah Mike McDaniels sucks at his job, but seing Rex Ryan a grown ass man calling another adult Nerd-boy is just absolute perfection.

Rex to the fish as GM and coach.  Make it happen.  Is this thing on?

All comes down to QB position,  you swap McDERMOTT with McDaniels and we most likely get past Chiefs in the playoffs.  McDaniels got stuck with TUA who is not even a top 10 QB in this league

This is as bad as FireChans stating Adam Gase would have won 5 straight division titles with this same Bills team.....Adam Gase.

Why wouldn't she agree to an interview? If she declines, it makes her claim quite questionable.

So I agree with you... but I remember Ray Rice, even Von, their accusers I believe recanted.. so my thoughts are that after being angry and realizing that they were about to set their income stream ablaze they backed off... I am not saying this is happening here in anyway shape or form, this I believe is his Ex anyways... but that honestly can be the only reason other than BS that I can think of they wouldnt co operate...  I guess we are gonna find out... I do know this... that this situation will make it all but impossible for the Dolphins to trade him for any level of value while this is going on...

Curious about how FinHaven was reacting to the Hill Injury, and expecting If be plowing through gallons of popcorn in the process, I traipsed on over to their board to read the tea leaves:

Hills injury | FinHeaven - Miami Dolphins Forums hills-injury.388579

What strikes me is that they're about as lifeless as their team. God, here we are, with Schopp and The Bulldog caterwauling for three hours about how our 2nd and 3rd string RB's aren't producing enough. Meanwhile, one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the league is probably done for the season, if not his career, and Dolphins fans are basically like, "Oh man, that sucks...".

Can you, for one moment, try and imagine this board if we were in their shoes? We would be literally burning the Internet to smithereens!

Maybe... Just maybe we should take a moment to realize how damn good we have it, right now, folks. Maybe we shouldn't melt down when our 2nd and 3rd stringers aren't posting Madden stats. Maybe... Just maybe we should check ourselves before we become kin to the dreaded, two-decades-worth of entitled Pats fans...

Perspective is a lonely hand to hold, boys. We got it pretty damned good!

Difficult to disagree with this plea for perspective.

Also important to distinguish between fans who "melt down" versus fans who "make critical observations" of a 4-0 team whose opponents are a collective 2 and 14... WOW!?!? Not melting down about it, but definitely not basking in these early wins where both the winless Saints and Dolphins had the Bills back on their heels in consecutive 4th quarters...

I'd rather not punch down towards the phins and feel grateful at their expense. I'd rather look up at those Patriots days you mention or the recent Chiefs and not get overly enthralled with being regular season stalwarts who can't ever get over the hump.

Josh Allen is simply too good to be fully satisfied with seeing the same glaring issues year after year, despite overwhelmingly winning against mediocre teams.

Fair point. I just fear becoming a hated fanbase because we get too smug and entitled. Like McD says: Stay humble; stay hungry. I feel like, at least to a degree, that ought to apply to us fans, too.

NOTE: I say "Ought" because--in logic--that term implies a moral imperative. "Should" implies a logical imperative. Be good. Do good. Go Bills!

The Chiefs literally were in like 10 or 11 one score games last year and looked not great the majority

We didn't look good on Sunday and we still won by double digits

I do every day.  It’ll never get better than these next few years.  No time to pout…. Until McDs D gives up 68 points and we lose by 1 in the Super Bowl.

It was weird seeing Hill smiling on the cart.  Maybe it ended his misery of being on the team this year.

I don’t think people are feeling entitled, it’s just that they fear that some of the weaknesses are lethal to our Super Bowl hopes, bc they’ve seen that show before and better versions of it. The D for all intents and purposes has been a huge investment in draft capital over many years with Beane and McD and it just doesn’t seem like it’s any good as a unit.  There are guys that can play and are good talents, but for a light, speedy unit at LB they don’t seem very fast at recognizing the play or being position to make the play, and the tackling…yikes.  The secondary with White and Rapp seems a tad too slow with some glaring weaknesses covering certain route combinations.  The line is probably the strongest part of the D and it has been inconsistent in run gap discipline and pass rush lane discipline.  All in all it doesn’t seem very coordinated and it’s hard to tell how much of a % each aspect of scheme vs personnel philosophy vs actual player performance is the issue.  The bottom line is that they may need to try something different.  I’m at the point of wanting Strong and Thompson to start as the first attempt to cure some deficiencies, but I’m not thinking it’s going to solve all the problems.

For many of us, all we know are the drought years.

We are the opposite of entitled.

We finally have THE guy and it hasn’t happened yet because of coaching blunders and continued holes in roster construction that we just can’t seem to figure out (fingers crossed that’s solved this year as time goes on).

That’s not to say we aren’t grateful for the team we have, and have had in recent years - but one can be appreciative while also critical, as many of us worry the current regime isn’t capable of holding up their end of the bargain around (likely) the best chance we’ll have at winning a Super Bowl in our lifetime.

Bizarre take. Just totally out of left field.

We had like 20 years of lifeless football to watch. I don’t think anyone who lived through that doesn’t realize how much better it is now.

To relate all of that to the Tyreek Hill injury is just absurd though

You ….you….are missing perspective. Bills aren’t some non playoff team coming out hot against a bunch of crap….They are a perennial SB contender doing what they have been doing for five years…They can’t help their schedule…and the Ravens are disorganized….not junk.
