julian Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I’m in the minority I guess, but I’m a fan of Bills players while they’re playing for the Bills. Once they wear another uniform they’re dead to me, my allegiance is to the logo, not the names. I don’t go out of my way to dislike former players, but I don’t go out of my way to defend them either. They were a cog in the machine, replaced by hopefully an upgraded cog. 2 2 1 1 Quote

He had one bad hit on Coleman that a fraction sooner or a fraction later is totally legal. Poyer always does the shoulder to sternum hits on deep balls, and after watching him play for nearly 8 season's I don't think he's now magically a dirty player. Just a guy who mistimed a hit because he's lost a few steps. Pass on Poyer in 2025 because he's washed, but let him retire a Bill next summer then add him, Hyde, and Kyle to the wall. 2 1 1 Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Does he want to do what Hyde did last season? That would be the only way I'd be interested in signing him 1 Quote

Agreed, but I don't think Hyde or Poyer are good enough to be on the wall. Quote
LittleSammy Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Bring Poyer in on a no-guarantee vet minimum deal and see what he has left. Let BB/McD decide if what he has is better than what we have. The NFL is a brutal business and we are close to the prize to bring him back just for sentimental reasons. Quote

I think some people forget this is still football and you still try and make plays and hits...and sometimes people get hurt. But that doesn't mean it was cheap or intentional either. 2 4 Quote

Bills!Win! Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Jordan is dead to me but I’d welcome any former bill back (except Von) is he a free agent? Quote
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago He's pretty much where Thurman, Bruce and Andre were. The Bills were done with them and they went elsewhere. Thurman especially went to Miami just to try to stick it to the Bills. Yet all 3 are rightfully still held in the highest regard as Bills legends. Was Poyer at their level when he was here? No. But he did the same thing they did and shouldn't be hated for it. 1 1 Quote

I get the sentiment but Taylor Rapp has taken out more Bills with friendly fire than Poyer has as an enemy. I’m inclined to cut him some slack personally. 1 Quote

DCofNC Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago He was great while he was here, but the last year wasn’t and he was outright washed for Miami. Sorry, but no dice on a come back Quote

He went high and didn't look like he was going after the ball. Coleman is 5-6 inches taller than him so Poyer has to jump up to hit Coleman in the helmet. Quote
