Perk71 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 It'll be hit or miss for me this year. GF is having major surgery Thursday, so I'll be attending to anything she needs when I get her home. 🤙🏼 Go Bills!! 1 Quote

I like the draft, its fun to watch and hear guys stories and see their dreams come true. I also really enjoy watching the Jets screw it up I also enjoy saying “who?” After Jets pick. I will watch every minute of it. On Saturday I will have no idea who anyone is, but I’ll watch anyway. I live half a block from a beautiful beach, but I won’t go there. I will stay and see if the Bills take punter, that I’ve never heard of. What’s wrong with us? Quote
transient Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Wait anxiously for Beane to trade up with each passing pick, lamenting the players selected even though I don't know a ####### thing about any of them, only to have to wait to see the TBD response when the pick IS finally made so that I know how to feel about it... and then feeling even more conflicted when half the board thinks it's the second coming of Josh Allen and the other half insists it's the second coming of Mike Williams (the OL, not the WR)... 1 Quote

I’m sure he’s going to want to cross the border and get weird. I’ll convince him that Resurgence will be packed with young girls with daddy issues, searching for a relatively successful narcissist who is married. By the time he realizes it’s just a bunch of smelly mouth breathers, it’ll be too late. Please see me in my office first thing tomorrow morning, “Kirby”. 1 Quote

Even worse, when that dude is in town he works out of my office!! 🤣🤣 Last time he was here he sat at the table in my office and took meetings. He had people in and out all day. I moved to a guest office. 🤣🤣 1 Quote

Overall, the pizza here is good, but the best pizza here is Bronx Pizza which is a 35 minute drive from where I live in San Marcos. I'm also ordering pizza and making homemade blue cheese. Wow! Who would have thought someone living in SoCal could be so deprived. Here in Rochester you can get great pizza at dozens of locations. Most places that have wings have barbeque as an option. BTW, barbeque is my go to choice as I'm not fond of Buffalo sauce. Garlic-parm isn't bad either. Quote
Mr. WEO Posted April 22 Posted April 22 I will be watching with envy as all those people stand around in a large public space in Green Bay Wisconsin watching large TVs projecting what's happening nearby. 1 Quote

From the stage walks on night 1 to the craziness of picks being announced from zip wires and by men dressed as sharks on day 3.... right through to stump the truck! Nights 1 and 2 normally just some nachos and snacks. Takeout pizza on day 3 normally. This is me too although I used to be much more serious about it. Now it’s more casual and I just make sure I have something soft next to me to chuck at the TV if I don’t like who we picked for no good reason. Quote

I enjoyed all day Saturday and Sunday drafts. The NFL trying to monetize every facet of the the business has the opposite affect on me. I am watching less, following less and spending less. Those long Saturday and Sunday's will not be missed by me. Too much information at once. Love the way they have it set up now. More time to reflect what happened after the first round and GM's can then re calibrate how they want to attack rounds 2 and 3. I'm a night owl though so I can understand why people don't want to wait until midnight for the Thursday draft to be over. Quote
