I think this game might look a lot like last night's Lions/Vikings game, where it's close for a long time then ends up lopsided.

Bills 14-10 lead early in the 3rd quarter but final score Bills 31 Broncos 13

Was at that game with my mom. This Bills team is still in its prime, that team wasn’t.

Same...remember it was quiet as a pindrop when Kelly had to leave the game...nobody said it but I think most of us were thinking that might be the last time we ever saw him play and we were right.

Does this wildcard game vs Denver remind anyone else of that 1996 game vs Jacksonville? Vet coach with a young QB, upstart team playing with nothing to lose, big home favorite with all the pressure on them? Maybe it’s my Bills paranoia setting in but I just can’t shake the feeling.

Actually, I was remembering back to about ,85, when the Bills and Bronco's had a playoff game in the extreme January cold.  bills won it on an INT by Carlton Bailey, the MLB at the time.  Low scoring affair, as the elements were heavy on both teams.  Hope I got that year  almost right.  I was there!

I was at that game and I promise you it wasn’t 1985.  Also, it was a normal cold sunny January day.  But other than that, you’re spot on

Pretty sure that was in 1991 or 1992

Interesting… except he is up against a Mega Superstar in his Prime.

I am leading however, to taking the Broncos to cover the 9.5 in a Pool.
It won’t be simple.

I believe I was there as well. Weather was not a factor.

Well, I WASN'T.....

I know none of this means Jack, but the Bills are 3-3 against teams with winning records, while the Broncos are 2-7, including yesterday’s rout of KC’s JV squad.

Nope.  Jim Kelly was on his way out, Josh in his prime.

I thought the same.

The difference with the Bills is that we were on the decline after our run.

No it doesn't.  The 10 - 6 Bills were old and in terminal decline.  This years 13 - 3 (I don't count the exhibition game) team may be the best of the Allen era.  And while Kelly was over the hill and fading fast, remember he couldn't get 6 inches on a QB sneak deep in Jags territory and he threw a pic 6 on a freaking shovel pass,  Allen is at the top of his game.

It was clear that maybe that team had 1 more run in them... if they could beat the jaguars, but probably not.

Pass blocking was worst i can remember and Kelly could no longer move.
