What Kirby mentioned would be my plan. I can easily pay off a cheap PSL before next season, so it would not be a credit score hit. Just wondering how people might feel if I intentionally am buying seats knowing I'll drop them in 2-5 years, when there may be people that want to buy for 30 years that can't get in, if it sells out.

LoL Bad Person???  Agree, we all paid our dues in the lean years.

But you may want to consider another scenario. During the initial frenzy many bought way over their head without thinking of the future or figuring they would sell some games in order to cut their losses. Historically seats for the opener (doesn't matter who) are the highest price and depending upon the teams the pre to mid November seats are cost plus. Even during tight races tickets after that period are cost minus and even in the current glory years late season tickets are dirt cheap. Even playoff tickets, especially the nosebleeds could be easily obtained below cost last year. As the monthly dings start affecting the financially insecure I suspect that the cost minus window will grow.

Unless you are adamant about being with the same crowd every week my (never humble) opinion is that for the same money you will get better seats buying on the open market. And you would be a 'Good Person' helping out a fellow fan both financially and by placing a Bill's fan in their seat.

If that's what you're worried about, when you decide you are done having season you can gift your PSL to friends or family for free. Or ask the people that sit around you if they would like your PSL

Whenever I have these dilemmas, I ask myself “Can anyone hate me any more than they do now?”  Fortunately, the answer is always “No”, so I’m free to do whatever I want.

I wonder how low they will go.  I was hoping $500-750 for the endzone/upper endzone area (seats I actually like, it give's you that Madden perspective and allows you to easily see formations).  Still waiting on my call though, but I'll probably be one of the last as I am halfway up 339.  Geing antsy, I am excited and want to lock the seats in for the new stadium

The new stadium rep actually called me today asking if I was still interested. I did mention I was since PSL's are now down in the $1K range, so we'll see what she comes up with for options. I am surprised that they would let me jump back in before they finish calling everyone that has not had an opportunity yet.

I was considering open market, my fear is actually that for the first Home Opener game, there may not be any secondary market tickets available. So that's part of my reasoning, take a sure ticket now, and if secondary market tickets are available for the club areas, pick those up and sell my (maybe) nosebleeds.

I'm honestly surprised that none of the PSL's have been below a grand.  I'm sure the remaining seats will be, but I don't know that $750 won't be the lowest PSL price point.  Kinda crazy honestly.  I know that we are still a lot cheaper than the other newer stadiums in the bigger cities, but this was still way more than I expected for Bills fans.

Monitoring and taking away season tickets...it goes hand in hand.  I don't doubt they know what's going on with TM.  I still think it's extremely unlikely the Bills will be targeting ST holders of a couple of seats who sell 2/3 of them because they live out of state.

They won’t sell season to out-of-area individuals.  I live in Alabama, and my wife and I had season tickets for over a decade. I lost many of my travel privileges, like air miles and hotel points, and it became very expensive to travel to a game. We canceled the tickets in 2013. The year after Josh got drafted, I called to see what I can get as far as season tickets go. The rep told me they would not sell out of area season tickets. Even though they had my history, they would not allow me to buy them. I have not inquired if I bought PSLs if I could buy them now.

Virgil, isn’t that the price spread over 20 years? So that’s $50 per year, or $5 per home game. By 2045 that’ll equate to more like $2 per game. How much lower would you expect them to be?

I'm going off other stadiums built in the last decade that aren't LA, LV, or NYC.  Most of them were below a grand once you got to the upper decks.

What stadiums fit this criteria? Only one I can think of off the top of my head is Atlanta, and their cheapest PSLs were like $2500.

I’d really have to look again.  When they first announced PSLs, I went to a site that gave links to every stadium with PSLs.  Some might be older than 10 years by now.  But I want to say Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and someone else too.

You can buy PSLs and seasons out-of-state now. But I’m assuming you have to be on the waiting list at this point.

Maybe, but the cost of building materials now, compared to when those stadiums were built is night and day. When the Steelers built their stadium in 2001, it cost $281M. When the Ravens built their stadium in 1998 it was $220M. The Vikings stadium was more recent (2016) and it was $1.061B. That’s $1.39B in today’s dollars and that’s WITHOUT factoring in the increased cost of construction vs. 2016. That’s another 40% or so. The bottom line is that the Bills stadium costs WAY more to built than any of those others.

There will always be secondary.  We got 4 very good field clubs.  We weren’t looking for 4, but the rep said we had to take 4 if we wanted the seats.  Most games we have 2 or 3 people (currently have 3 seats), so I know we’ll be selling the seats we don’t use and I’m sure others will to.  When my family grows, I’ll be using all 4 personally more often.

Secondary market will always have Bills tickets, but as many have noted, a number of higher profile games each year will be fetching prices WELL above cost. Seems logical that PSLs will actually encourage more STHs to seek recompense by selling a choice game or two to highest bidders (often visiting team fans) on resale sites.

The whole PSL program forces even devoted, old school diehard fans to face the commodified realities of contemporary venue construction cost overages and who actually is on the hook. Hint: it ain't the billionaire ownership. Oh, sure, the Pegulas fired a lot of people when it became clear they would be liable for a little more than originally planned, but the original NYS taxpayer investment of $850M + several hundred thousand $ in PSLs eventually sold easily outweighs the true Pegula investment. Plus unlike the Pegulas, who bring in revenue, we get no financial return on our investments...unless of course we decide to treat it more opportunistically.

How 2025 goes on the field will have a real impact on how Bills Mafia treats seats in the new stadium next year. Such a perfect season to finally win it all.

⬆️is correct. As a previous club seat holder they called me, and I bought. I live in NC.

You are correct. They don’t take Confederate money. 😄

So my group is in 201.  The heart of the rockpile.  We have had our seats for over 20 years.  We got the call and are going Virtual as a group Wednesday morning.

Im thinking we should be able to get really good seats for our section because we seem to be very early from a rockpile standpoint.
