I wish they would have every choice available, may too difficult. But sometimes the 4 view just hast too much going on to not give me a headache. But still a fun option.

Had a conversation about this during the games. You can pretty much only watch one MAYBE two regardless of how many are on.

Yeah there was a point I just wanted to watch two games but the two I wanted were not an option. I now put the main game I want to watch on the TV and the next game on my iPad.

There’s a few different ways to get into multiview and I’ve found you have to play around a bit if you don’t easily find the exact combination you want. They’ve already said you will eventually be able to just select what you want by selecting for individual quadrants.

If I want a zen moment I’m sure as hell not watching a Bills Game ….

McD should make Josh watch the zen moments before every game

Quite the opposite for me. I watch the 4 view on my projector screen when the Bills are not playing. With the large pj screen, it is like watching 4 regular sized TVs. The best is that the commentary comes from the highlighted panel and the switch has only a slight lag.

On my 65” it’s just a lot going on it’s cool to be able to do it though.

That will be cool then

So I'm a YTTV subscriber and have ST.  I'm away this coming weekend and the TV's where I'm staying have various streaming apps including You Tube but NOT YTTV.  So wondering since I subscribe to ST, can I watch this week through the You Tube app instead of YTTV?

Can you cast to the TV?   If so use your phone or iPad to cast.    Can’t believe A TV that has apps can’t get YTTV a on it.  I would think via YouTube u can watch games but never tried it.  Check YTTV website

Ed, I’m with Xwnyer — can’t believe you aren’t able to download the YTTV app on a smart TV.  The good news is I don’t think you have to.  Everything I’ve seen suggests that if you are a Sunday Ticket subscriber then you can watch on either YTTV or YouTube as long as you’re signed into the same account.

Yes, you can watch on the YouTube app. I did last week while on the road.

I am having trouble with easy toggling back and forth between games.

Maybe it is just my remote, but I have to back out of the Bills game and go to “home” where I then look for other games. Then have to do the same when I want to get back to the Bills game.

it’s not like DTV where I can just go up and down between channels, I don’t think.

Any ideas?

The kinda sorta workaround I've found is I just select one of the multiviews of 4 games that I'm interested in and then once that loads up, I'll click on the Bills game from there. Then, any time you want to switch feeds you just hit back once and it brings you back to that multiview and you can select one of the other 3 games quickly.

Not sure,  but I noticed on YT last Sunday they had the games all listed. I have YT and YTTV so maybe I'll try getting to the game from regular YT this week

This is silly - so I can't select my own games so you can save money on data center expenses?   Fine - all computers have the ability - make selecting any game avail on web browser and if you feel it necessary, keep your stupid pre-selected feeds for the TV app to save on your precious "data center and computational resources"

What they are saying is that for you to do multiview it needs to have enough processing power on the *client* side. And because many ***** TV devices don't have the processing power to do it, they do the multiscreen on the server side which means you can't customize it. This is where the server side power issue comes in because they are saying it's not currently possible for them to do every possible combination ahead of time.

IMO they should do some gatekeeping in the app that allows for client-side multiview if your device meets a certain hardware spec, but maybe at some point they will figure that out.

Keep in mind if you use the You Tube app, you can't watch the games on the local TV station.  Can't watch them in multi view either, don't think they will even be listed.  Whereas in YTTV, the local show up and can watch with multi view.  That's a nice improvement over DTV

The TV may be smart, but I'm in a hotel with a hotel user iinterface.  Maybe there's a way to add an app, but didn't see it.  They usually like to keep these things locked down so people aren't downloading porn and stuff.

I’ve seen this take posted up for months now, but don’t forget that you have to take in to account what your high speed internet costs too….no high speed internet, no YTTV. With DIRECTV, obviously you did not need to have high speed internet.

The math isn’t hard $49.99 for 1 gig internet plus $82.45 for YTTV versus $247.00 a month for a lower mid tier DTV package before making the quarterly call to beg for discounts? It is a no brainer, the savings is substantial. Besides, internet is hardly an additional cost simce most households have internet in addition to cable and DTV. It’s hard imagine a household in this day and age without internet service. Hell, even when my pops was alive, he had high speed internet. 70 years old, and he had to have it just to do his bills and play his games.

I am so glad I don’t have to fork over any more money for DTV.

I know it’s a couple more bucks but a fire stick is $30-ish. All you gotta do is plug it in an HDMI and you can access the YouTube TV app from there. I only have one TV in the house that’s “smart”, the rest of the TVs have fire sticks, and I haven’t had an issue.

That's true would work, but this is just for this week while traveling, all my TV's at home have YTTV no issues there.  I have my laptop with me so can watch on laptop and plug that into HDMI port too.

Man, I already love the way YTTV does the Ticket so much more than DirecTV with ONE major exception…I really liked Andrew Siciliano’s RZ and I can’t stand the dude who does the “standard” RZ channel.  I almost have to mute it — he’s that bad.

That said, I had to start watching the Bills late because of another commitment and the “watch key plays to catch up to live” feature is outstanding!

As noted last week, the tremendous variety of “multiview” options for each game is also a game-changer and crushes DirecTV’s old 8-game or 4-game window with no ability to individualize.

Google got this one right.

What is everyone's fascination with red zone? Watching 10 seconds of a game at a time is annoying

"Let's go to Dallas where Dak Prescott hits Ceedee Lamb on a 40 yard catch and run. Now over to Chicago where Justin Fields escapes on a 12 yard run. Over to Buffalo where Josh Allen hits Stefon Diggs on a slant play. "On to Kansas City where Mahomes throws a dart to Travis Kelce for 21 yards. Let's take you to back to Dallas where Tony Pollard takes it in from one yard out. Over to Cincinnati where Jamaar Chase is having a great first half".

It's annoying. I usually just flip back and forth between a couple games I have interest in and leave it on there while the main game I watch is on a commercial break or halftime or something. Not sure why people love the constant bouncing around between 10 different games every 10 seconds

They should add support for customizing it on web browser interface - that is how the old app worked then just connect your laptop to any monitor or tv

When there are 3 to 4 games all coming down to the last play at the same time, RZ is spectacular.
