Even 1 yrd pass as surrogate for old school run game. Not sure why there’s legacy fanboy love for ground-pound anymore as a means to win any AFCC There is seemingly always an obsession with the ground and pound and establishing a great running game and balance on this board… oddly enough it was a topic of conversation as to why the Bills lost the Bengals game which made and still makes 0 sense to me. 1 minute ago, DapperCam said: Bills need to have a running game with the RBs this year. We've been one dimensional, and when the other team shuts down the passing game we have nothing to fall back on. The Jets loss last year is a good example of that. Allen had 200 yards, 0 TDs and 2 INTs (he had 86 yards rushing and 2 rush TDs). The leading RB rusher was Singletary with 24 yards and 3 ypc. The passing game wasn't working at all, and we had nothing else to fall back on except Allen scrambles and designed runs. That’s more a product of ***** offensive line play and questionable receivers though… and that was Josh’s worst game since 2019… he made some real head scratching decisions. We would need to have a strong run game then. Nothing Allen shouldn’t be able to handle… just two years ago in a wind storm against the Patriots he made it look pretty easy(when they finally let him sling it)

You say a loss isn't as much of a big deal? I disagree. If we lose, we continue the Bills are soft and declining story that is out there with some media pundits. If we lose to the jets we still have one of the most daunting schedules ahead of us. This is a game we "should" win on our sked. If not, we are in for a tough season IMO. Let's see what we have with our new receivers and Defense. Gonna be a BIG game boys! Yeah losing would be terrible, I can't even imagine how awful this place would be if we lost, like even if we win the following week it'd probably still be completely uninhabitable.

MPL
Must have been Mike Greenberg. The guy has the personality of an 11-year-old Jets fan.
Chicken Boo
It's a divisional game. Expect the unexpected. No matter how the Bills perform, it's week 1. It doesn't really tell us anything going forward. Remember this if they get blown out or if the reverse happens. 2

TheFunPolice
I don't see Rodgers getting 400 yards. He is efficient, has a great TD/INT ratio a lot of times, buy doesn't pile up yardage the way some guys do. Last year Brady was awful and had a losing record. End of the 3rd quarter he has like 120 yards passing. Then after the game you look and he ended up with like 390 yards passing and the Bucs lost 19-13 or something. There was a video in slow motion that showed once of Allen's passes getting pushed sideways in the wind. He has a strong enough arm to get the ball through the wind but he's not a magician where he can prevent the ball from moving. Or for it to be less slippery. When conditions are bad, all teams pass the ball less lol.

I think their D is better suited to stop our run than our D is to stop theirs. Especially with Bernard out there instead of Edmunds. Last year, Josh was the only effective rusher we had vs the jets.
