I thought the kid played great too. If you'd have asked me at the beginning of the season if the kid would be a starter in the league in 2023, I would have laughed at you. After they kept him in the Bills game after his concussion, I hope he may think seriously about finding a different team that doesn't ignore concussions. Bad enough he had that serious hip injury that will no doubt impact his life in his older years, he will possibly develop some brain disorders as well. He is very likeable as a person and I admit I do require opposing NFL players to be good people to even consider liking them. As such if Miami still treats player safety with such disregard, I hope he decides to force a trade to a team that does prioritize player safety. Yes this includes their stadium not providing sufficient shade in dangerously high temperatures to the opposing team players to get an edge. Then when you have the fastest football player in the game today (Hill) along with the speedster Waddle - the YAC machines start chugging. He could have been a troublemaker given his treatment by Miami, but he's not taken the bait. Good on him. Now never do I wish him success against the Bills. I agree, he's not great, just good. He'll always need really good talent around him for the team to succeed. That'll be ok for Miami while he's on his rookie contact, but once he gets paid it'll be a whole lot tougher. He'll never be able to carry a team like Allen & Mahomes can. I love Diggs over anyone on Miami, but could you imagine what Allen's numbers would be if he had Hill, Waddle & Mostert? Damn he would win multiple MVPs & Super Bowls imo. He withstood a lot of adversity with the Dolphins before this year with their prior coach and some of their fans who wanted Watson and were ready to throw Tua under the bus.
