I wonder if, when we look back, TBs decision to un-retire will be seen as a catalyst for a fall of Tom Brady.  I honestly don't understand why he did it.  He had his chance to ride off into the sunset after a SB win back when the Pats rallied from way behind and won in OT against the Falcons.  And again when he won a SB with Tampa.  He chose neither.  And now it seems like his personal life is really suffering for it.  Life is too short.  You had a legendary career, a ton of SB victories, and if you wanted to prove something to the hoodie you did so.  It was time to retire and enjoy your family.  Instead, it looks like his decision to un-retire is going to cost him.  And if Tampa does not win the Super Bowl it will have cost him dearly, for no payoff whatsoever.

And if he and Tampa DO win the superbowl, what else will that do for him?  Risk/Reward for Brady is weighing much more heavily toward 'risk' at this moment. But maybe for him its not about the risk or the reward....its probably about the attention and needing the spotlight.

I have a feeling that he would be lost without football...though it may now cost him his family

Who in America is saying, "Gosh, I hope Brady can win an 8th!"

And if they are, I can't be friends w/ them.

Tampa wants to win the Super Bowl I think they don't care who they have a quarterback.

In actuality I don't think Brady fans are too worried about it.

And now for Gisele's side of the story...

Gisele Bündchen breaks silence about Tom Brady coming out of retirement: 'Obviously, I have my concerns'

Quote

Gisele Bündchen is breaking her silence about husband Tom Brady coming out of retirement, admitting she has "concerns," including wanting him to be "more present" at home.

...

On Monday, a source toldPeople magazine Bündchen is "frustrated" with Brady's decision to unretire.

"Going back to Tampa after the retirement put a strain on the personal side of his life," the insider said. "Gisele is frustrated and sick of his career coming before their family, who has always supported him."
