Ah yeah, played at Washington, had I think 6 ints and around 18 pass breakups if I remember correctly. Drafted by Falcons in the fifth round. Suspended for violating substance abuse rules. Waived and went to Seahawks. Waived again and went to the Saints.

I didn't get that from Wiki, I swear

I fully expect other teams to snaffle up any of the guys who don't make it. One of the downsides of being a great team is it's harder to hide players away on the PS. Makes a nice change from a few years ago when we had PS squad guys as the starters

Yep. We learned last year if a promising young Bill gets placed on the PS, say Goodbye 👋

Just something everyone has to live with.  All the more reason to pack the PS with as many good players as possible.

No such thing as "camp bodies" anymore.  Everyone has to be good enough for a shot at PS.  So good that Beane is always looking to improve

every level of players all the time.

Nice to hear.  These out of nowhere CBs that Beane and company find plus the undoubtably great work by John Butler and Jim Salgado

is amazing.  Looks like cutdown for the depth CBs will be tough and hope the guys on the outside can hang on the PS.

Side note:  With Butler now also taking on defensive pass game coordinator duties, anyone think he may be next in line for DC like I do?

Nick McCloud was known to have outstanding athleticism and size/speed ratio coming out of Ohio State.  For whatever reason, his production didn't match his physical profile.  When the Bills signed him as a free agent, it was with the hope that with time and good coaching he could develop into a solid NFL CB.  He's been with the Bills now for two years.  It looks like the Bills' investment may be paying off.

Haack is a goner. This reminds me of the Bass vs Hauschka battle a couple years ago. Bass seemed a little shaky in areas but his flashes were enough to keep the high floor rookie over an incumbent who may be slightly better at the time.

Beane has made a clear point that he wants the strongest arm and legs for this WNY weather. We really have the strongest armed QB, strongest legged kicker and strongest legged punter in the league. 😎

i must break you dolph lundgren GIFThe roster that Beane has built…

You add Levi Wallace, Cam Lewis and Dane Jackson as guys getting coached up, you have to give big props to John Butler.

3 UDFA's and a 7th round pick all outplaying their draft status.

This is why I made my earlier comment thinking he may be next in line for DC.

That sounds a little ominous.  I assume "personal reasons" meant a death in the family or something that else that will be taken care of and over in a few days.   But praying for him and asking everyone to pay for him sounds different.

At this point I want to declare, unofficially of course, Isaiah McKenzie as the third wide receiver for this team. He gets a lot of work on offense and looks really good doing it. On Saturday, he made an excellent grab in the back of the end zone for a touchdown from Allen.

McKenzie was running along the back line and had to get up really high for the ball before coming down and making sure that not only one foot was in bounds but that he got a knee down as he went to the ground, as well.

Even if he’s not going to be a factor in the return game, McKenzie looks like he’s going to be a big part of this football team in 2022.

That's an interesting comment from Morse.

Didn't even know anything was wrong with Dion.  Just knew he was out.

New to me as well....

Kinda seems like it's more of a personal type situation than physical/injury type. Either way, hoping for the best for him

Howard still having a tough time it seems. Although I never had much expectations inthe first place, however didn't think it would take a whole lot to beat out Sweeney.

Looking like he may have a difficult time with that unfortunately....

Injuries have killed OJ 😉 but I still have high hopes. The talent that he has would make him the ultimate TE2.

and I love the fight but I hate the idiots jumping on the pile. Just a dumb way to cause an injury.

Howard is more of a blocking TE at this stage.

Hope he can step it up enough to get it done because I was hoping to move on from Sweeney.

Yeah I know, but is that enough to get it done? I'm not sure it is. Hope he can get it going a bit more sooner than later
