The offseason has hit it’s slow point so I was looking for some content and looked up when the NFL Top 100 came out, and turns out we get nothing until training camp starts because the list didn’t come out until late August last year

Anyways, it got me thinking — what Bills make it this year?

IMO, Allen and Diggs are obviously locks and I think Poyer is as close to a lock as you can get. After that I’d go to say Hyde should make it and probably will.

I don’t think Knox will, he had a great year but was really bolstered by touchdowns and big plays in big moments. I also think Tre is more than deserving but his injury will probably cost him to be left off the list.

I’m a big Edmunds fan myself and see a breakout year incoming, but I don’t think he deserves to make it quite yet. That being said, players and execs around the league love him and I think he might sneak onto the list.

All in all, I would vote myself that Allen, Diggs, Poyer, Hyde and Edmunds make the list in that order. I think Tre is deserving but doesn’t end up making it due to injury, and I don’t think Knox should or will make the list, but wouldn’t be surprised to see him sneak into the 80’s/90’s on the list.

What’s TBD say, who makes the list and why?

I feel like Allen, Diggs, Dawkins are locks. White should be a lock, but idk how his injury will affect the voting.

The two safeties, Oliver, Knox, Edmunds are iffy.

i’d be pleasantly surprised if Dawk is on there. I think it’s much more likely Poyer and/or Hyde make it. Only locks are Allen and Diggs

May want to add Von Miller to that list.

I guess this list is made concurrent with pro bowl voting only to players so forget about Allen's performance in the playoffs.  I'll go Allen, Diggs, Miller, and White.  Poyer and Hyde should be on there but it's a popularity contest.

Allen doesn't go in the top 40 and Lamar does just based off Josh not making the pro bowl with players not putting much time into it.  This board will be up in arms.

I put a Thank You sticky (🍺) after reading your 1st line, then removed it after your last line 🤦‍♂️ Allen alone is the reason we are the consensus SB victor this season for his play from Thanksgiving onward. He’ll once again be Top 5.

Allen and Diggs are the only locks to me and I would include Tre, but since he got hurt I don’t know how that will play out. I’d hope either Poyer or Hyde get a nod but it’s iffy considering it’s not a flashy position that doesn’t get a lot of love.

I cannot disagree with the poll results (Allen, Diggs, Hyde, Poyer, White), with Oliver, Edmunds, Milano, and Morse all honorable mentions. BUT, I think we should add Von Miller, right????

I didn’t have Von on there just because he wasn’t in a Bills uniform last year, I was thinking of guys that played for us

As for Josh not being top 40 🤯

The list is definitely a popularity contest and not the end all be all, but it’s not that wildly inaccurate. I actually put a little stock into it because it’s the players opinions. Calling it a popularity contest and saying Poyer and Hyde won’t make it because of that, I can see that point and it makes sense.

But being so down on it that you think Allen doesn’t make the top 40? You gotta give it a little more credit than that

If Dawkins played the whole season the way he finished it, then maybe… but he didn’t. Josh and Diggs are obvious locks, Poyer and Hyde wouldn’t surprise me, Tre would cause he missed so many games.

I don't know about not in the top 40, but I do think he may be lower than people think he should be from when the votes were turned in.

Allen, Diggs and Poyer.  Hyde may be deserving as well, but I don’t think he’ll make it considering Justin Simmons has already been named. I don’t think Hyde would be higher than Simmons, but definitely possible.

Regarding Dawkins, he was great in the last 1/3 of the season imo. Not great for much of the season.  Good year

overall, but I wouldn’t put him in the top 100 players based on his overall play.  Maybe in 2022

Allen and Diggs are shoe ins

Poyer and Hyde likely get in toward thr back.

I'd say Tre White too, bit him being injured I could see him not making it. A lot of recency bias in the top 100 and missing a month and a half doesn't help the cause.

I'd predict

ALLEN @ #4

DIGGS @ #21

POYER @ #76

HYDE @ #96

WHITE misses due to injury.

FWIW I think Mahomes, Rodgers & Brady would be the 3 ahead of Allen
