Tony Siragusa Died

Recommended Posts

Wow, so young. Another one.

Guy delivered one of the biggest hits in Baltimore history when he crunched Rich Gannon in that playoff game, knocking him out and sending the Ravens to the Super Bowl.

Siragusa was a good player and extremely charismatic.  I enjoyed him as a broadcaster.  Seems like one of the good guys.  While I have no idea whether his weight had anything to do with his death, I always worry for those ex-linemen who don't shed the extra pounds after they retire.  RIP, Goose.

his story about how constipated before a game, (i think a playoff game) is incredible.

This makes me curious, but hesitant all at once!

WAY too young. RIP.

I’ve been reading Paper Lion and Seven Days To Sunday about 1960s NFL and all the characters. Tony fit right into that mold and will be missed. He was a throwback for sure.

And when he got fined for the hit, he said it was the best money he ever paid.

RIP Goose.
