Virgil Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 (edited) Looks to be a 2-3 million dollar savings against the cap this year, while locking him up for a few more years.ย Solid move Edited March 14, 2022 by Virgil 8 2 Quote

Brennan Huff Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 (edited) I really thought he was cut potential. Iโm indifferent about thisโฆ. ย Ok Iโm going to break this comment down because apparently this is some of your guyโs first year following free agency ย Each team is allowed a certain amount of money each year to spend on players. Itโs called a salary cap. Try to follow along. The Bills are really close to hitting that cap. Now I said Morse could have been a potential salary cap cut because of his salary, not because of his play on the field. He was already making a lot of money, top 10 salary on team. ย Now some teams base their cuts on the particular players salary, especially if they are close to the cap. When I said I was โindifferentโ about this, it was because he was given a raise. Does Morse deserve a raise? In most situations I would say absolutely. But like Iโve been sating, we are close to the cap and we have some needs.ย ย Thank for attending my Ted Talk and go Billsย Edited March 14, 2022 by Brennan Huff People are slow. Green Lightning Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 I get the restructuring but a raise? He's Mobile but can't move a traffic cone run blocking. Also a hit away from serious head injury. 3 Quote
BillsFan4 Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Nice! Iโm guessing his cap hit went down for this year despite the pay increase. ย I thought he had his best season as a Bill last year.ย 3 Quote

Mr. WEO Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 (edited) His original contract was 4 million at 11 million per year average.ย Not really a significant pay raise is it? Edited March 14, 2022 by Mr. WEO Quote
