At this stage I cannot see us making the Championship game this year unless we play like we did against the Bucs in the second half across at least three of the four quarters in Foxboro (and not get routed in the weaker one) plus six or seven quarters out of eight in the Wildcard and Divisional games. We shouldn’t need to bring our A Game to beat the Panthers, Falcons or Jets but we cannot flop out of the gate either. If there were any doubts about playing Josh today due to injury - I doubt there were any - I think they would be dismissed by last night’s result. What is true is that for this week, and this week only, a colts win means that a couple scenarios will make the Bills drop out of the playoff race on the chart. That is quickly ended and changed later in the year when other teams play each other. A Colts win does not hurt our long term playoff chances. It's not a disaster at all if we win 3 of our last 4 games. Even if Pats beat us. There are good match ups and bad ones. The Colts will probably beat the Bills because they cant stop Taylor. I believe the Bills are better than the Pats player for player. However, their lines are better than Bills. The Bills coaching staff has to come up with a plan that maximizes their talent and limits their weaknesses. Last game, the weather hampered their strengths. I'm not confident the Bills can stop their running game. Who can be after seeing last game? If the Bills score early and often like the Colts did then their running game is limited. I'm looking forward to a similar game plan to the Tampa second half game. If so, the Bills will win. The Bills cannot let the Patriots dictate the game. If so the Pats will pound the Bills into another loss. Also, weather at Foxboro can be another negative for the Bills. If the Bills play the Colts again I hope it’s either in Indy or a day with no precipitation in Buffalo. Wentz isn’t better than Rivers and I think the Bills can beat Indy.
