Speaking of scrub QBs,

I see that Geno Smith of the Seahawks is out of this week’s Raiders game. That’s unfortunate, but I will congratulate him for still being in the league and for being the proven best QB from the 2013 draft.

I may be in the minority here but I actually feel kinda bad for the kid. Like Darnold I feel he didn't get the commitment to develop and build around them from the team that drafted them. You get drafted and then your new HC runs you out of town the following year. WTF Arizona!!

That being said, I'm so glad we have our guy! Good luck to you Joshua Ballinger Lippincott Rosen😝

Allen was thrown into a worse situation than Rosen and Darnold his rookie year.  Neither get sympathy from me.

No argument there. But Buffalo did everything possible to develop and provide him with players, scheme and an environment to thrive. What did the Jets and Cards do?

Sign him and we will have Three first  Round  picks at Qb. How many teams can ever say that!

Smart move then starting selling them off for draft picks 😂 after a small showcase.

Cardinals smartly got what they could for Rosen and moved on.  The Jets meanwhile......

This is true… I will say thought that each organization took different approaches to developing their QB’s and Buffalo was the only one that a plan.  Rosen or Sam are probably better QB’s  if they were drafted to Buffalo, but probably never match the success that Josh had

Their plan for his rookie year was horrible.  Superb after that.

Wherever he goes, teams immediately draft their QB of the future. No one seems to see enough there, to try and develop him. I see a career backup who will have a few good games or maybe even season, in relief, after 8-10 years in the league and then end up back on the bench til he retires.

Really? You think they ARE better QBs? Or might have been at draft time?

Not sure I'd agree. The plan to sit him and let him learn, was a fine plan, IMO. But it had to be aborted.  Josh succeeded despite the Bills plan going awry.

No no no…. I’m saying if they are drafted to Buffalo they probably are better QB’s than the QB’s they turned out to be in actuality.  But I still don’t feel they’d ever be as as good Josh was this year.  That’s what I meant.

There are some who are still convinced that Josh Rosen just needs the right situation to be successful

Mike Glennon might have a case that he's better than Geno & Matt Barkley is still in the league.  It wasn't that hard to figure out that 2013 was a dud class BEFORE the draft.  The only ones who didn't figure that out were Nix & Whaley.
