Cusefan66214
What Hilton hotel in the Buffalo area is the best for both ease of getting to the game and for doing a bit around town? Planning on coming on for the Chiefs Thursday night game and have some Hilton points to spend Thanks
Just Jack
There's a Hampton Inn right off the 90, between Orchard Park and the city, if you don't mind driving everywhere. https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/bufwshx-hampton-buffalo-south-i-90/?SEO_id=GMB-HP-BUFWSHX Edited June 11, 2020 by Just Jack

Just Jack
If you want to be in the city, there's both a Hilton Garden Inn and Embassy Suites https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/bufmsgi-hilton-garden-inn-buffalo-downtown/?SEO_id=GMB-GI-BUFMSGI https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/bufeses-embassy-suites-buffalo/?SEO_id=GMB-ES-BUFESES
El Guapo
East Aurora Hampton for ease of of access to/from the game. Hampton Inn downtown for a party the night before and after the game.
Augie
I’ve stayed at both the Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites downtown for the last couple openers. Both are absolutely fine, and an easy walk to restaurants and bars. I also start at the Hampton Inn in Williamsville to visit the old stomping grounds before moving downtown. If you can’t walk it, what is another 5-10 minute drive? I’m for staying near stuff you want rather than being stranded mid-way.

BisonMan
Hilton Auckland is my personal favorite. Awesome views of the harbor and a great breakfast buffet. Of course, the trip to the stadium requires 24-28 hours of flights to Bufffalo and then the drive from the airport. But, that sunrise on the harbor makes it all worth it!
Behindenemylines
Garden inn downtown is good. Embassy has a steakhouse where you can run into some players now and then. Garden inn airport has great staff and its close to Williamsville for some good restaurants. I’d save the points and instead stay at The Curtiss-cant beat it. machine gun kelly
Lots of good suggestions, but to be safe you should consider something downtown for Friday night as it is fun, and then a place close to the stadium so you can Uber. Not that I’m suggesting you’re a big drinker, but there are enough other knuckleheads out there that you won’t want to be driving after the game. A nice short Uber means you can have fun and not worry about traffic or anything else. Just my two cents, but have fun. Hopefully there will be fans, even if only 25-50%. Not as well advertised, similar decor, probably not as cringe-inducing when viewed with the aid of a black-light.

I remember staying at this place about 20 years ago. Came back after a fun night to a note saying "Dear Guests. Please note that the QE2 will be docking outside the hotel this evening, so you might want to keep your window shades drawn for privacy." Sure enough, I awoke to windows outside my window the next morning. I kept the note card; it's kicking around someplace.

A cruise I was on ended in Auckland, New Zealand, and there was a hotel that butted up right next to the dock. I'm not sure if I would like to stay there because there was so much noise at 6am with all the unloading and reloading of the ship, I don't know how people could sleep. I would say the same thing... stay near things you can just walk to, the little extra time going to the stadium is no big deal. We stay at whatever Hilton or subsidary that is at Roswell by the hospital... forget the name. Short walk to Gabriels Gate too.
