If we didn’t have vaccine pushing Fauci, they could cut attendance to 50% and put other safe practices in place. Play all games in sunlight, require masks, sanitizing stations, it’s doable for those who don’t mind the risk.

Pretty much this.  Life IS risk. Every time we hop in the car to drive, we're taking some risk.  Every time I give in to my cheeseburger & donut cravings, I'm taking risk.

I get what they're dealing w/ here, but there are things that can be done to alleviate risk here. For starters, by fall, there may be treatments that greatly reduce mortality rates.  Beyond that, like you said, they can space fans out at stadiums responsibly and take other measures that reduce potential exposure.

We kind of have to figure out how to carry on while this thing is still out there. It's simply not realistic to stop everything until it's eradicated.

Not happening guys. I'm not sure why anyone wants football with no fans anyways. I'm hoping they postpone the start of the season.

Thanks for sharing. The rest of us are getting on with our lives! Feel free to stay locked in your house. We’ll let you know when it’s 100% safe to come out.

Yup, the dumbing down of an all to large percentage of society has been quite successful, sad as that is.

Go Bills!!!

Good thing there are no oceans near Vegas!

Was about to say that but Vegas is in the West Coast time zone (Pacific).

I heard the governor of Maine wanted to shut down the state for another month.. You know how many people have died there as of this week?  51.

Do you think the state being shut down has something to do with only 51 people dying?

Have a gander at non locked down Sweden versus the totalitarian paradise that is Michigan.

This thread is quickly getting off topic so this is my last post on the subject. I highly recommend you read this article to see the consequences of that decision:

As for the topic at hand... there is practically no chance the NFL will have a season with fans in the stands. But I still believe they will find a way to have some kind of season. There's too much money at stake for everyone involved. The NFL is creative, they'll figure something out. I can envision games played at a few select empty stadiums where the "home" team has virtual fans that show up on the jumbotron. The NFL should talk to Atlanta to see about pumping noise into the stadiums.
