2020 NFL Draft Rounds 4-7 discussion

Recommended Posts

Very happy with the 1st 2 picks.

Would like to see a WR and DB with the next 2 (seems a lot of others think the same).

Hope one or both of the next 2 can field punts too!

Like others I'm hoping for a punter upgrade with a 6th.

IF they want to grab their long term backup QB I'm down with that too!

Yeah, I definitely completely missed that. And, I completely agree. It hurts to remember the times it was our strongest position.

I'm not sure he'll be there in the 7th. He could easily go in the 5th. If a team has few holes to fill and it's a choice between a kicker with a really high chance of securing that position (remember how bad kicking has been lately in the NFL) for the next several years or a position player likely not to make it out of camp on the active roster, I'd go kicker.

I agree with you.  He will likely be gone by the 7th.  I guess I'd consider him with one of our 6ths if he's the BPA pick.

I know I might be in the minority here, but I'd love a young QB.  Jake Fromm is fascinating!

I agree, although do we actually spend a 4th on him with all the other needs we have?  How would that affect Allen's leadership?

Did I read it right that Minnesota has 13 picks today?  I guess they’ll be testing the negative value of oil theory.  If I’m an agent, I’m telling Minnesota not to draft my client,

Wow.... now THAT's a team that has capital to move up!

CD just picked my guy Darryl Williams from Mississippi State as his steal of day 3!

Yes CD! Not convinced on him as a great fit for the Bills' blocking scheme but some team is gonna get great value with him. He will start in this league for a long time.

Josh Allen’s response to the Epenesa Sack.

Allen is fun. He is just a fun guy. Fun to watch and fun to listen to.

Before day 3 opens.... just a reminder on the state of my board - carried across from my day 2 debrief thread but with Brycen Hopkins added in (so it is 16 not 15) I had missed him when I wrote the list out earlier.... It get harder scanning across the board at this point because there are fewer "stick out" guys.

1. Tyler Biadasz*, C, Wisconsin - injury flag

2.  Bradlee Anae, DE, Utah

3. Troy Dye, LB, Oregon

4. Darryl Williams, C, Mississippi State

5. Curtis Weaver, DE, Boise State

6. Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia

7. Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn

8. John Simpson, G, Clemson

9. Hunter Bryant, TE, Washington

10. Solomon Kindley, G, Georgia

11. Brycen Hopkins, TE, Purdue

12. James Lynch, DT, Baylor

13. Bryce Huff, DE, Memphis

14. Tyler Johnson, WR, Minnesota

Love Epenesa pic.  Took me looking up more about Moss, but really like his potential.

Today, either package some picks and jump and get some LB and WR depth, maybe Safety depth.   If not, use the bottom round picks to grab the guys you feel would be UFA’s.  Not many open roster spots on this team.

The 49ers just love giving up picks.

Selling out, going for it now.   They'll either win a Lombardi or burn up in the atmosphere...
