They've been here 3 years and I believe I can count the number of players left from before their regime without taking off my left mitten.

They have drafted a QB, two OT, 2 DT, a MLB, a CB, a WR, and a TE in the first 3 rounds of those drafts and signed a pile of FA (not to mention some trades).

They are responsible for the current roster.  They have buttloads of cap space.

Don't you think this year is time they should be held accountable for "what they want this team to look like"?

If not, what really will be different in your mind about next?

Next year with $90 million in cap money they can sprinkle in FA difference makers with a mature young core.

Does anyone really think they're going deep in the playoffs this year?    That's not in the cards as I see it, but adding 2-3 guys like Dante Fowler Jr. to this group along with another killer draft could make them a real contender IMO...

Also at some point will need a legitimate threat at wideout, and those can be had in FA as well...

What about TE Nate Becker?  I didn't see him on any cuts as yet...or did I miss something.

they're sitting in the $90mil range for next year right now...around $25 - $30 mil still on this year that can be added to next year = $115 - $125 mil next season...sounds nice

I'm tired of waiting for next year. I want to see a Bills team THIS YEAR like 2017, that over achieves and makes the playoffs. Let draft picks fall where they may.

And I disagree that we have a long window here.  Next year we're headed into year 4.  Contracts will start expiring soon.   Extensions and franchise tags eat up cap space fast.

Nope.

Buffalo has an option for 2021 on Tre, plus they could tag him twice.

They have a ton of cap room and a 2nd year QB.

They may not have hit the start of their window yet, let alone be anywhere near seeing the close of it.

we may not have football let alone the contract structures as they now stand. new nfl cba... so who knows!
