  1. It used to be home of the world's tallest all-wood flag pole too.
  2. True. Van Miller is from Dunkirk too. But the smart people do leave the city when they get the chance.
  3. Nope. Stop it. Calling him racist is political. That's the point you don't get.
  4. LOL. The point is Mayock did not suffer. The fact that we can say "cracker", but not the n-word, is indicative of that. Do not compare what Mayock went through with true racism, which has hurt the lives of black people in this country ever since slavery.
  5. Too bad AB can't play this Sunday against Pittsburgh. I would have loved to see him go against his old team.
  6. Nope. Doc said AB's actions were racist. That is in dispute.
  7. I am not going to turn this thread political, but Doc made the first political comment on page 1 of this thread.
  8. So says you. Do you think Mayock batted an eye when he was called a cracker? Try calling someone the n-work and see how it affects them. That is racism. There is a long history of POC being denied many things in this country due to the color of their skin. White people haven't been affected like that. But let's not turn this thread political.
  9. It wasn't racism. White people cannot be the victims of racism due to their privilege.
  10. Calling a white persona cracker is not racist. The majority cannot be the victim of racism. White people have privilege.
  11. That's only because other teams knew AB didn't want to play there and Pittsburgh was in a tough spot.
  12. The part where he alleges racism makes it political. Some people do not view it as racism.
  13. The part where he alleges racism is very political. I'd like to put him in his place, but I am biting my lip.
  14. If he proves himself this year, teams will be lining up.
  15. Not really. His new deal next year will set a new record for wide receivers, and make up for what he lost.
  16. Bullets is not possible, given the political climate this century. It's a non-starter.
  17. Thanks for posting. That TD run by Andre at 0:59 of the first video against the Patriots was amazing.
  18. What is happening is that the competing network is allowed to show a game in the time slot while the home team plays. IOW, if the Bills were to host New England at 1 PM, the other network (most likely FOX) would not be allowed to show a game in that same time slot in the past. Now they can, in most cases, for this year only. This is a 1-year experiment by the NFL. In the time slot the home team is not playing, say 4 PM in the example above, both networks could, and still can, show games. So each area is supposed to get 3 games between the 1 PM and 4 PM times slots; however, sometimes in the past, they only got 2 games, due to the restriction above. Now that restriction is lifted, for this year only. The exception is that twice a year for this year, home teams are allowed to prevent the competing network from airing a game in their time slot. After two times though, they cannot demand such a limit. See my post above.
  19. LOL! Ok, thanks! That is what got me confused. I am used to control bars where they have a button to insert a pic, but in this case, it is just for a link.
  20. Ok, thanks! I will try: Ryan Fitzpatrick - Jets: Ryan Fitzpatrick - Bills: Ok, it worked! Thank you!
