  1. I liked the olden days so much better, in the 80's and 90's. Each team had only two sets of uniforms. White was for home and colored was for away. Now it is too complex.
  2. The Bills actually have 5 CB's with Siran Neal, who backs up Taron Johnson: https://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart
  3. How could the bills beat the Patriots on the road in Week 16, but then lose to the lowly Jets at home Week 17?
  4. Interesting. I am not sure who is right, but Ryan Miller of the Democrat & Chronicle also says the salaries do count towards the salary cap: https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2019/09/01/nfl-practice-squad-buffalo-bills-roster-tracker-cuts-eligible-salary-tracker-christian-wade/2186993001/ "There is no maximum salary but contracts count against the team's salary cap."
  5. Practice Squad salaries do count against the cap: https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2019/8/31/20841047/nfl-practice-squad-eligibility-salary-rules-roster-cuts-waiver-wire-how-it-works-philadelphia-eagles "A team can pay a practice squad player however much they want to entice the player to stay on their practice squad. Practice squad salaries do count against a team’s cap space, however." Presumably though, Christian Wade's salary does not count, since he has an exemption.
  6. If they weren't interested in him, they could cut him now. Actually: https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2019/8/31/20841047/nfl-practice-squad-eligibility-salary-rules-roster-cuts-waiver-wire-how-it-works-philadelphia-eagles "A practice squad player can not sign with their team’s upcoming opponent, unless they do so six days before the upcoming game or 10 days if their team is currently on a bye week."
  7. I thought they could be cut anytime? But the PS salaries do count against the cap. Also, does Wade's salary count against the Bill's cap?
  8. The four-week stretch from Weeks 13-16 will be the hardest: at Dallas Baltimore at Pittsburgh at New England Sadly, I can see all four games being losses and ending the Bills shot at the playoffs. Agreed. This is the first year as a team for many of these players. A winning record and playoffs is asking for a lot. I also fear Allen going down for a while and either Barkley also going down or playing terrible. We need a third QB who is competent. And maybe another RB on the PS who can be promoted.
  9. You mean 10-6? If the Bills beat the Titans in Week 5, they would be 4-1.
  10. If he signs with the Bills. All PS members become free agents the next year (and are on a week-to-week contract during their season on the PS). Let's hope the he develops and the Bills wow him enough then.
  11. I said 6-10. I have always been a homer and said unrealistic things like 12-4 in the past. And I was always wrong. Now I am being a bit more tempered. Until the Bills prove they can win, I am going to be more realistic. I hope the Bills prove me wrong big time.
  12. Well, I didn't see this posted elsewhere. And it was dying, until you revived it.
  13. Any chance he is related to Danny White, also a QB from Dallas?
  14. Many players from the PS are actually promoted to the 53-man roster due to the inevitable injuries.
  15. But they need to get some players now when the picking is good, in case Munnerlyn isn't there or an injury happens in Week 1. If all goes well, then they can cut that player after Week 1.
  16. He's a year away, at least, from being NFL-ready. Plus, why not use the free spot and sign someone else to the PS?
  17. Yep! billsredneck1 said on another post: 6'5" 218 39/51 4td/1int. 76.5% gets my vote" and I agree. [edit: how do I tag billsredneck1?]
  18. This is the list of PS-eligible QB's, from WVUFootball29 on the PS thread [edit: how do I tag WVUFootball29 btw??] Drew Anderson - Rookie - Murray State Vincent Testaverde - Rookie - Albany Nick Fitzgerald - Rookie - Mississippi State Signed by Buccaneers Logan Woodside - Toledo - signed by Titans Jalan McClendon - Rookie - Baylor Danny Etling - LSU Signed by Falcons Joe Callahan - Wesley Taylor Heinicke - Old Dominion Brett Rypein - Boise State Signed by Broncos Luis Perez - Texas A&M Commerce Jordan Ta'amu - Rookie - Ole Miss Phillip Walker - Temple Signed by Colts Alex McGough - Florida Intl Signed by Texans Chase Litton - Marshall Kyle Shurmur - Vanderbilt Brandon Allen - Arkansas John Wolford - Wake Forest Jake Browning - Rookie - Washington Signed by Vikings Kyle Sloter - Northern Colorado Kyle Lauletta - Richmond Signed by Eagles Davis Webb - Cal Clayton Thorston - Rookie - Northwestern Signed by Cowboys Devlin Hodges - Rookie - Samford Wilton Spaight - Rookie - UCLA
  19. Now that the 53-man roster has been assembled and it is Sunday before Week 1, it is time to focus on the regular season. It is time to make your predictions for the year. What will the Bill's final record be this season? This poll will end Saturday at 1 PM, 24 hours before the first Bills game.
  20. Ugh, I thought the Bills should have signed Lauletta. Now the Eagles have him.
  21. Yeah, that's why when I first read the post, I thought it was the full article. And yeah, the article is good. We do need a punter.
  22. No, he is on IR: https://www.buffalobills.com/team/players-roster/ He is still on the team. He went to the IR.
  23. At 4 million dollars, that is taking a pay cut, but I am sure he is happy.
