PetermansRedemption
I cannot believe this guy has value beyond a 7th rounder. Good job by the Broncos getting something for him.
Aussie Joe
Are the Broncos giving up a pick as well for the Skins to take him?

whatdrought
Is it done? NFL reporting it as in process. Either way, this is particularly Dennis Alleny of Dennis Allen.
Doc Brown
This will be Jay Gruden's last year if that's their plan at QB.
whatdrought
Wonder what this does for the Rosen spec? Also, does this remove the Redskins as a trade down partner? I was really hoping we could drop to 15.
BillyWhiteShows
Would not surprise me to see Washington still in the market for a QB. Ditto for Denver

Alphadawg7
I mean this makes sense. They need someone to hold the job down while Alex Smith recovers. This could be good news for us though. Since they traded for Keenum, I doubt they will also trade for Rosen now which could put Washington back in play for a QB and a possible trade down partner for us. If they were going to also trade for Rosen, there is really no reason to also trade for Keenum. They could have started Rosen and just signed a FA vet to back him up if they wanted. So this is actually pretty good news for the Bills. By no means does it equal a trade between us, but had they traded for Rosen it would have eliminated that all together. So at least now, a QB to Washington is still in play in the draft. They have no assurances of Alex Smith even playing again or much longer, and Keenum is a one and done player, so grabbing a young guy to groom still makes sense for them. RobbRiddick
Are they planning on doing what the Browns did when they signed Tyrod and drafted Baker? Wonder if he'll start more than a few games
wppete
Damn. Was hoping they would be a good trade back for us from #9 to #15.

mjt328
This is a puzzling move for Washington. This year, Alex Smith will count over $20 million against the cap, even if he doesn't play (which he probably won't). Case Keenum is set to count $21 million against the cap in 2019. And where they are in the draft, it could be very difficult to land a top QB prospect without a significant trade-up. Unless Keenum restructures his contract (which is possible, but why would he?), the Redskins could have over $40 million of their salary cap tied up in QBs. And they would still be at the bottom of the league in passing, without a young passer waiting in the wings. ndirish1978
Redskins gonna Redskin. Way to tie up a monster chunk of cap space at a position with players who are going to give you production mildly above a street free agent.
4BillsintheBurgh
That's telling me either they don't feel it's worth trying to get a qb in the first round this year.
