With a first round projection I don't see him staying. The economics of the draft with his first round grade make it difficult to stay in school. The financial consideration isn't only about the first contract. It is just as much about getting to the richer second contract sooner assuming the player develops as projected.

He is no bueno, IMO.  Weak arm. Erratic accuracy downfield.  Was never impressed with him as a prospect.

Come on out! Maybe some team will want to trade up with the Bills!

Passing on Mahomes, trading up for Zay Jones, trading up for a project QB who wasn't even good in college, etc.

Don't forget trading up for an avg. LT and trading up for a LB that looks very so so, when Dallas appeared to have gotten a much better one a few picks later.

Does anyone notice a trend? Trade up, trade up, trade up.....the exact thing smart teams dont do....and the one time we do trade down it's to pass on what looks to be one of the best QBs in the league (Mahomes) or one that looks really good (Watson), yet again showing this franchise has no ability to evaluate QB prospects.

Tough spot to be on.  You never gameplan to lose, especially when developing a young QB, but man.....a win/loss is the potential difference between a blue chip player OR perhaps an extra second round pick via trade down in a year where the 2nd Round should be loaded with good receiving talent.

tank, trade down, and load up on draft picks rounds 2-4 this and next year!

2019 will be year three of Beane and McDermott.  You can forget the tank talk as it will be time for their regime to produce results with plenty of cap space and ten draft picks to replenish the roster.

Excellent points.

I'm really starting to think we may have a really bad GM running our team.

Ingnorant points.  Been wasn,t the GM for Dawkins or the Mahomes trade.  Edmonds has some better key stats than Vander Esch and has to command the D as well as playing in a true MLB roll as VE plays OLB.  I swear do people on this board do any research or do they just listen to other people that dont look into anything.  Lets talk about Edmonds at this time next year.  Allen as well.

Is this a serious post?  Eagles traded up and win a super bowl.  Rams traded up and are one of the best in the league,  KC traded up and now are one of the best in the league.  The saints traded up for a DE and are one of the best in the league.  Bears traded up, division winners.  Texans traded up, in the playoff hunt.  Lots of teams trade up.  Saying that trading up is the exact thing smart teams don’t do is just so off base you couldn’t be more wrong.

2019 NFL Draft Order: Cardinals No. 1; Broncos Close in on Top 10

This is a look at the first-round order for the 2019 NFL Draft through Week 16. The order is determined by record, using strength of schedule as a tiebreaker. Keep in mind -- teams 21-32 would make the playoffs if the season ended today (the Rams, Saints, Chiefs, Chargers, Bears, Patriots, Texans, Cowboys and Seahawks have already clinched playoff spots). The draft order for playoff teams is determined by the results of postseason play.

It's almost time. We're six days away from locking in the first 20 picks of the 2019 draft -- well, until one of those picks is traded -- and the Cardinals find themselves in the driver's seat to kick off the festivities on April 25 in Nashville.

With the Raiders' beatdown of the Broncos on Monday night, Arizona is alone at the bottom of the standings (and top of the draft board) entering the final Sunday of the regular season, so the Cards are a loss at Seattle away from clinching the top pick.

Here's the first-round order heading into Week 17, along with the top three needs for each team.

Hollywood Brown.

No matter what.

You've gotta watch the film, you can’t just rely on media outlets for this stuff.

Both of these receivers are reaches in the second and maybe worth their value in the third.

Metcalf is oft-injured, has sub par hands and can’t run routes.

Hollywood Brown weighs 170 pounds and also has sub par hands. He’s so small that when he’s holding the ball it almost looks as big as a toddler in his hands. 170 pounds is how much i weigh, and i’m typing this behind a screen while taking a deuce on my toilet (ala, 170 pounds doesn’t take you to the NFL). He was 138 pounds going into college so it’s unlikely he’s going to add much more weight to his frame.

These guys just just come from big market pipeline schools so it was easy for the media to find them, expect their draft stock to fall towards draft time and new names like Kelvin Harmon will be the ones we’re hearing about and eventually seeing go in the first round.

Metcalf seems like consensus number 1 at this time.

It’s always too early to evaluate the Bills decisions if it’s negative. But zay Jones is a true #2 after one good game.

As soon as it’s a proven mistake the homers say “let’s just move on! Stop living in the past!”

apparently there must be a sweet spot where it’s ok to admit the Bills have made a mistake; after enough time has passed but not before too much time has passed.
