Favorite songs from the 80s

Recommended Posts

Oh how I miss the 80s and 90s. What are your favorite tunes from the 80s folks?

I am going to go with

Joan Jett- I love Rock and Roll

Journey- Who's crying now

Midnight oil- Bed's are burning

Scandal- The Warrior

Billy Joel- Allentown

Billy Idol- Eyes without a face

Der Kommisar- After the fire

David Bowe- Lets Dance.

Anyone else want to add to the list.

I am not ashamed with being in touch with my feminine side.  Has it gotten me laid?  NO!  But I heard it helps, so I'm not stopping!

Scandal...Patty Smyth....?

I actually prefer Goodbye to You, but they’re both good, especially the videos.

I will admit I hated it then. Along with this:https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DPGNiXGX2nLU&ved=0ahUKEwiatdXbkMDbAhUSKawKHQecBnUQ3ywIOjAC&usg=AOvVaw0ErTORvLeBPjFRjDbEeNmr

But I have grown along with the rest of the world.

The music supercedes.....and those guys courage 30 years ago is admirableb to me now.

Dammit I wish I could figure out how to imbed videos instead of just a link@!!

The Cars are one that I underappreciated back in the day. I absolutely love em now.

I was a metal head then. I still am now, but I do dig now a bunch of those other eighties bands that a despisised then!

I remember getting hooked on the first self-titled album, then they lost me on "The Skull" and then the second self-titled album was great. After that I lost track of them.

Very Ozzy/Sabbath... a good thing.

In the 80's I was all in on heavy metal and hard rock.

But when I see favorite 80's songs I'm thinking more of the MTV bands and not  "Creeping Death".

This doesn't quite qualify, 80's band, 1990 song, but a fave of mine:

And who can forget:
