If you remember Terence McGee, or if you don't, take a minute and watch the greatest kickoff return that didn't go for a touchdown in the history of the league.   The guy could play corner, too.

He was an excellent player.  If he had been less humble he would have gotten more attention.

That was amazing, but how did he not score!

IMO he was the best tackling DB since George Saimes

I put Leonard Smith atop my list

he was on a mission

years that mattered as well

Interestingly, when he was drafted, he was not seen as a sure thing at CB.  He couldn't backpedal like a normal CB, and had to learn after he was drafted.  Fortunately, he picked it up quickly and had a nice, if too short career in Buffalo.

Winfield was pretty good too.

Honestly, White has played pretty good against the run as well, long way to go for him.

Winfield was an awesome tackler for his size

Thanks OP,

While we're on the subject of good CB's I would like to give an honorable mention to Jabari Greer.

I couldn't agree more.  It is weird to think of how pleased I was when that guy got a deal that took him away from the Bills.

pleased because he always worked so hard and it paid off for the young man with a reasonably sweet deal (4.5 million or so per, if memory serves) for a guy who at the beginning didn't even seem like he'd make it a year or two in the league.

Edit: From Spotrac- 4 year, 21.1 million dollar deal, with a $5.3 million signing bonus and $11.3 million guaranteed.

What I remember about McGee is that Belichik was so worried about McGee's KO returns that he always squibbed the KO when McGee was back there. I have never seen Belichik more frightened of a Buffalo Bill than he was of McGee.
