The guy could play corner, too. He was an excellent player. If he had been less humble he would have gotten more attention.
blacklabel
That was one of those crazy drought moments that left you thinking, "Really?! They can't catch a break on that one? He does all that and then his own man gets in his way and trips him up? This team is cursed!"

Young34
This makes me miss Bobby April. Guy fielded some of the best special teams groups we've ever had. Even voted Special Teams Coach of the Year in 2009.

TigerJ
Interestingly, when he was drafted, he was not seen as a sure thing at CB. He couldn't backpedal like a normal CB, and had to learn after he was drafted. Fortunately, he picked it up quickly and had a nice, if too short career in Buffalo. Augie
Running out of gas on the 3 is Billsy. Doing it as time expires makes it an all-time classic! Amazing run by a great player though!
LikeIGiveADarn
Amazing to think that play happened the season after I graduated high school. Doesn't feel that long ago.
Your Brown Eye
Why he tried to jump over the guy instead of continuing to run to the corner that was wide open is beyond me

Hellcamino
This was played in San Antonio, Texas if I remember correctly. After Katrina did her thing to the Dome. Best non scoring play in NFL history.

I couldn't agree more. It is weird to think of how pleased I was when that guy got a deal that took him away from the Bills. pleased because he always worked so hard and it paid off for the young man with a reasonably sweet deal (4.5 million or so per, if memory serves) for a guy who at the beginning didn't even seem like he'd make it a year or two in the league. Edit: From Spotrac- 4 year, 21.1 million dollar deal, with a $5.3 million signing bonus and $11.3 million guaranteed. Mickey
What I remember about McGee is that Belichik was so worried about McGee's KO returns that he always squibbed the KO when McGee was back there. I have never seen Belichik more frightened of a Buffalo Bill than he was of McGee.
