The_Dude
Allen might be good. It may be that he literally had nothing around him at Wyoming. But there insufficient evidence to suggest he’s not gonna bust. Now it’s time to see what we got.

Frustrating when these guys jump on you for your thought and we end up allot closer to the truth than they do with their wild thoughts. They forget there are other teams with dreams too. Buffalo brass got what they wanted, QB to groom and their MLB. Still have 5 picks left so they can get fillers. Maybe Bills trade 1st next year and 3rd and get back in the 1st round. We shall see. Not all of their picks would pan out so who cares, its house money! If the online sucks you put in AJ and let him get killed! Now the same people who were sell the farm whomever the front office determined to be their QB are crying cause they used a couple of the picks to move up and now cant fill holes. All because the Bill's front office didnt take the guy they felt they should have. Not sure where you are getting your info from, but I've never been a fan of giving up a bunch of draft picks, let alone 3/4 2nd and 3rd round picks. I was fine with just going BPA @ 12, if Allen was there then so be it. Otherwise, then Lamar Jackson @ 22, or Lauletta in the 2nd/3rd... Lately plenty of good QBs have come in rounds 2-4, Cousins, Wilson, Prescott, Carr, Watson, off the top of my head, just no reason to give up such valuable picks, Imo. Green Lightning
Soul crushing night. All that draft capital giving away for an epic bust in the making. At least we got a good linebacker. Now we get to sit out for the rest of the draft and see all the good players we missed go by. They should have stayed at 12 they would have gotten this bust anyway. They should have stayed at 21 a good player would have come to him, instead we gave away the farm for what.

dgrochester55
I'll admit, I wasn't impressed in the games that i watched him in college, but I am on board now that he is on the team. I would have preferred Mayfield or Darnold, but like him better than Rosen. One positive is that is he is not ready right away, we have McCarron. I feel like we will get one extreme or another with Allen. I don't see him being serviceable or average. I see him either being a long time pro bowler of complete bust, no in between. Hoping for the best

billsfan89
Allen is out of central casting for a QB, but of course his accuracy is suspect which scares me. Maybe sitting a year behind AJ can polish up his mechanics and he kills it. The Bills needed a QB and they went out and got one.
