I seen my cousins 17 year old daughter for the first time in 15 years recently. I said Oh my God, she's beautiful.

The Jury is still out on this. If you don't get invited to the next Family Reunion, you'll know it was inappropriate.

In the socialist utopia that the left envisions for the future United States nobody will be commenting on the appearance of another "comrade" unless of course that appearance gives them some advantage in the eyes of The State in hiring practices associated with them being a member of a self declared 'protected class'.  (Do not be fooled by this nonsense.)

Welcome to the beginnings of the Orwellian Junior Anti-Sex League.

I mean... is this where all of society is heading? Was Orwell only about 50 years off in "1984"?

Men need to start suing back to make companies fear lawsuits from them just as much as they do from women.  No other way to bring this back in line, the pendulum has swung so far to one side its ridiculous.

I guess everyone in this thread already knows the full details of what he is being investigated for. Weird because I don't see that information reported anywhere.

No, and from what I hear it might actually be about his fast food business's hiring/salary practices.

Telling a woman she is attractive is not harassment, regardless of location. Same as saying you like her shoes....dont mean you wanna hump her shoes!

That said, I dont know the details, but merely saying someone is attractive is not misconduct

Thank you.

All these allegations coming out every other day decades after the fact is ridiculous. It's one thing to be actually raped or harassed but to say you have been assaulted when some looks at you funny is absurd.

My wife says it boosts herself esteem when she gets cat-calls and to get over yourselves (and she was raped)

I think it's all in how you do it. I mean if the guys a fat ugly toad I am sure the girl doesn't care if he thinks she's attractive.

Think about a fat ugly girl telling you that your attractive. If you even a decent looking guy it's not something that interests you. Attraction is sexual in nature when it comes to a man and a woman. Your not telling a woman she's attractive like your attracted to owning a car or owning a pet.

But are you going to cry that you have been abused?

I think it comes down to money and power. A lot of people are willing to not have morals for money. I'm sure a few women were willing to do some extra activity for promotion. I think these people in power forget that not every woman is willing to do that to gain success. People have so much power that they approach the situation as a foregone conclusion that they can do what they want to who they want whenever they want to.

I don't think it's as simple as compliments on shoes or a nice dress. I don't think all these things are happening because a guy said you look attractive one time. In the current climate I believe some women might be taking advantage of the situation but I also believe there were probably a few men in powerfull positions who took things to far and made some people feel uncomfortable.

I hit on a girl I worked with once. I got rejected. The reason she didn't have to go and complain was I got the message. I didn't pursue her after that even if she said we could be friends. I wasn't staring at her at work or finding ways to be around her.

There are avenues in this world to get what you need without the trouble. I can agree there is a lot of grey area with victims on both sides of this.

If people used this option there might not be problems in the first place. Besides that time it's an undercover...

as you know i was kidding.

Workplace has rules. some are enforced and some are lax.
It is common sense really.

there are at least two kinds of ways to say.
Hello

you look nice today and smile.
the other end is you say
wow you look good today and look leeringly

The word attractive suggests  a magnetism. and is in appropriate for the work place.
asking for an after work drink or snack is best to measure the temperature perhaps ?

Seriously, it's all about perception. You could say and do the same thing to a dozen women and 3 may be offended, 6 may be indifferent and 3 may be flattered.  It's a mess out there. Thank Christ I'm married. I'd be scared to offer a woman a tissue after she sneezed these days.

It is inappropriate workplace conduct with the potential to make the recipient of the comment feel uncomfortable.

Now telling a girl that she is attractive means you just violated her safe space.

What kind of creepy weirdo is telling women they are attractive at work?

the people who defend this stuff are probably ugly losers who don't know how to talk to women in the first place.

I would agree that it's never a good idea to give your opinion on a woman's attractiveness during work hours. It's best to live like robots and keep it strictly business.

Precisely brother, if the hottest dude in the office said the same thing as the ugly loser, do you think the reaction would be the same. The world works on a sliding scale. Also, calling someone an ugly loser is pretty subjective too. Maybe that ugly loser is the apple of someone's eye.

So is a filibuster. Big deal. We live in a whiney ass, dont hurt my feelings type of world. It makes us all a bunch of wussies.I got an idea...lets not tell the leopard he has spots..it might hurt his feelings.

Gimme a break. Ive told a hundred women they are beautiful. As a matter of factually. No harm intended. If they saw harm in it, it was because THEY were jaded from their OWN life up until that point. What a copout. And for the record, I do NOT condone ANY type of harassment.  But now, thats quite a wide variance of definition, isn't it?

Is it harrassment if you told the same girl in a bar instead of work?

Should we not tell our elected congressmen that we dont like their policies?  Is THAT an uncomfortable comment that is deserving of a lawsuit? Truth is truth, even if it only applies to the individual who proclaimed it. Whats next? I told a woman I loved her and she said I was ugly. Can I sue? She made me feel uncomfortable.....

I met my wife at work. Actually, I met my ex-wife at work too. Fortunately not at the same workplace. That wouldn't be good.

I do feel like we need a scale for these things.

Grade A Harassment, the Cosby/Moore Group: (allegedly) does very illegal things, like drugging his victims or choosing 14 year old victims.

Grade B Harassment, the Weinstein Group: makes you watch him get naked and does things you can never unsee. Also presses women into actually touching him. And then takes retribution against those who run away.

Grade C Harassment, the Louis CK Group: this is Weinstein minus the retribution and forced touching. Classic flasher in a raincoat. But remember, he always asked permission before exposing himself.

Grade D Harassment, the Franken/Judge Kozinski Group: the "I'm just making a joke" group.

Don't talk about people's attractiveness in the office. It is a work place. If you want to tall a woman she is beautiful tell her in a pub or a bar when she has self selected to spend time with you, not at her workplace where she has no choice to.

It really, really shouldn't be this difficult folks to separate your work life from your personal life. It is just about being professional.

I have dated coworkers, including once a female boss. I have never once made my move in the office, it just isn't approriate there. It always happened in relaxed social settings where they are choosing to be there at the same time as you. In the same way I don't drink in the office, I don't hit on women in the office.

and of course, what do settlements mean?  NOT JACK ****.

of course, the #fakenews reporting of the TBD Bot doesn't quite get that, but settlements just mean it is cheaper and easier to settle the incident and move on.  they're not an indictment of guilt by any means.  but, so great of the bot not to understand reality.

how do you post a tweet like that 26CB?

In the top right corner of the tweet, there's that little down arrow (v). Click on it and then click on "Copy link to tweet".

Then post the link here and after you post it a little prompt pops up at the bottom and says "link posted as rich text. Post as plain text instead?"

Click on "post as plain text" and it will embed the tweet.

I wish this would happen so bad. We could laugh off that wannabe thug badass who pretends to be something he's not and not even worth a billion to sign a terrible quarterback like Kaepernick.

It'll never happen. Those two douchebags won't ever be near a team.

But good job for Sean Combs getting headlines.
