Nervous Guy
Why does anyone need to get a subscription to read J. Sullivan when there are 100 curmudgeonly sort of clones here on TBD?
zonabb
Anyone rad them for free? TBN is dying behind a paywall and adding another to just Bills articles shows the level of desperation it is in trying to find revenue. It's end hopefully is very near, and The Public or other actual news outlet can step into the void and recreate actual reporting and journalism here. Your right the Sabres articles are free, I bet they lock them up the week before the season.
eball
...I guess I won't be reading the Buffalo News any more! Â No great loss, actually.

DaBillsFanSince1973
maybe they'll get less clicks. I know speaking for myself, I don't even go to bn for any bills news. either get it here or other sources. bn writers are worthless.

WhitewalkerInPhilly
I've moved out of state, so actually reading a hard copy is only possible when I visit. I didn't mind giving them extra advertiser dollars to check in, but man...I can't say that most of the articles these days are worth going past the paywall for. Sully and Vic do nothing but beat the same drum, and Gleason is even worse. The best reporter they had in years Ty Dunne, shipped out.

TC in St. Louis
I'll pay 3 bucks a month to keep up on the Bills through the News. But when I try to do that, they keep telling me an error has taken place. Â Perhaps the error is in my decision to sign up.

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch
It it cheaper than the last time they did this, only $3 a month. So papers want close to that per week.

Beast
Why would I pay to get Sullivan's opinion on the Bills when I can come here and read many posters, whose opinions I value much more, for free? Â Having a journalism degree doesn't mean you know what you are talking about. It. Sullivan is a prime example of that along with a couple others that work for that rag. Buffalo News is hugely profitable as strange as that may seem. May not be making money on digital, but profitable none the less

RyanC883
TBN charging for access is ridiculous. Esp. with Syracuse.com covering the Bills. I live outside of Buffalo and will check twitter, these message boards and the Syracuse paper.
Fan in San Diego
Sully is unreadable. I saw an excerpt from him after the Baltimore game , he called it the worst pre-season game ever of all time. I thought the team showed progress. It wasn't all doom and gloom like Sully said. I don't like or read negative people's articles.
