And also try and flip anyplayer not in long term plans Edited August 14, 2017 by MAJBobby

I'm a podiatrist and it's intriguing me!I believe the ankle injury from last season lead to foot soreness. He didn't have surgery ... saw a specialist recently and thought he wouldn't need it. Looks like they are extremely careful so he's ready for the season. I'm worried. He played Thurs night and then the issue popped up again.
McBean
Really starting to get the feel of a 2-14 season coming up.....so much so that I cancelled my trip to Carolina in week 2. It would be the best thing to happen to this team the past 17 years. It would also not be a good look for McDermott or Beane. Why not? Both should be safe for ATLEAST 3 years. What does a miraculous run for a playoff wildcard get you? A curb stomping round 1 on the road against Pitt? We've tried to JUST make the playoffs for years. How's it worked for us? Until we get a franchise QB, we will be mediocre at best. Look at Tennessee. 2-14 2 years ago and now projected to win 12 games and the division. I bet you would've been pissed if you were a Titans fan after that terrible season. Have to thing long term Scott! Have a plan and trust the process. Putin
Cue fans who have never played a down of football to tell Glenn to suck it up and play through it. They need to be super careful with this. Big men and foot problems are very serious. This would be a huge deal if he is forced to miss a lot of time. Why did we cut CK again? Didn't he get in trouble or something ? YoloinOhio
🙏 @mikerodak Bills coach Sean McDermott said Tuesday that he hopes the injection LT Cordy Glenn received "knocks out" his lingering foot injury and he will be able to return. Glenn is week-to-week after flying this week to Wisconsin for the injection. Edited August 15, 2017 by YoloinOhio

If that happens, Jets might have some competition at the #1 overall pick. They definitely have no viable option n the roster right now. Henderson is getting reps as the #1 LT, but he'll be suspended for the 1st 5 games of the season and Dawkins is busy with an apprenticeship at RT. If Glenn is out then it's yikes! KellyToughII
At this point IR his ass so he can come back later. Get Dawkins all the reps at LT and lets move on. The longer we keep Dawkins from getting all the LT reps he can, the longer it will be to try and get him up to speed Ive only heard this from every GM and HC before McDermott and Beane but whatever you say. But Every HC/GM combo SAID one thing and DID another. NONE addressed Franchise QB. And don't start on the EJ BS, no one had him rated worth a damn but Nix reached just so he could SAY he tried. hemma
For more than a year, the problem was 'ankle'. Now in nearly all articles, I read 'foot'. Foot has more possible long term problems. 26 bones down there .... + 100 pieces off foot stuff (muscles, etc).

EmotionallyUnstable
Our offensive line is in trouble over the next few years. Wood is in a contract year and I will be surprised if they resign him. The following year both Richie and Miller are up on contracts. Do Beane and McD have any loyalty to these interior OL? Nope. With issues surrounding injuries (potentially long term) and question marks at RT, pair this with McCoy's age and our running game could be 100% different in two seasons. Possible replacements? Groy is the solo in house guy and it's possible Miller plays well enough to be retained. Hopefully they can use one of those 3rd round picks on an interior OL and Cordy's foot heals up properly. In this scenario, if Dawkins can show well enough at RT, we will be okay. But it is definitely a question mark over the next few seasons IMO
wiskibreth
People are way overreacting about this Glenn situation. He's going to be fine. He's been checked out by Dr. Andersen twice, and all he gets is an injection. That tells me no permanent damage to repair, just reduce inflammation and speed healing time. If he starts missing regular season games, then I'll start to worry.

Buffalo_Stampede
Can't they just cut it off and get him ready to play? Players these days are soft. My biggest fear right now is Cordy is a huge man that has had little conditioning or practice in a long time. There is no way he will be ready for the start of the season if he doesn't get back in the next week. Heavy Kevi
Did Richie not take a chainsaw to his new sports car at one point? I'd say that is pretty crazy for starters. Ritchie is "don't **** with me" crazy. Perhaps a rage-a-holic. Exactly what you want from an OL, and the bullying scandal left him a blackballed victim of the times. Running around naked and telling cops to shoot you is "crazy" crazy. Like mentally unstable, don't want you handling my millions kinda crazy. Won't be a huge transition for him; much more important to get him a lot of work at RT for the time being. I think broadly that is right... he is trying to learn RT and it will slow that down flipping him back to LT. However the point was made to McD that there will come a point - and he accepted that - where they have to do it.
