Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
Cheektowaga Chad replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
This pick and the reaction now officially reminds me of the Josh Allen pick The night of the pick beane mentions how Josh Allen is "buffalo" and how everyone is gonna love him The next day Josh Allen has a press conference and instantly see what beane was saying and I understood the pick more Last night beane mentions how the media will love cover him and that everyone will like keon Coleman Now watching parts of this press conference, I see what beane was saying and I'm in board with the pick -
That's a fact that does not get mentioned enough. Beane is the reason we are where we are at the moment, bad cap management, over paid players and cap hell. Not to mention a terrible drafter. We have 0 great players outside of Josh Allen, 0. Beane has not drafted 1 difference maker outside of Josh Allen.

We don't have endless seasons? Damn! I wish I knew that. Tyler Bass is holding Josh Allen back. Well, that's a new one. -
Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
ColoradoBills replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen will be throwing balls to Keon Coleman. His success will not only be the graded on "normal" timing plays but his ability to find enough room to have Josh chuck him the ball during Allen's scramble drills. Coleman's success or failure will have a lot to do with that. If he develops the smarts to do that, he will be a very BIG asset. -
Wegmans just put out more of the Josh Allen bags
Einstein replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Picked up this Josh Allen pennant from Wegmans today as well. -
Has the skills. May not be the most hyped guy coming into the draft. Josh Allen is his QB. Expect good things.

Lets just say he's lucky to have Josh Allen, hopefully he's got better hands than gabe

Pegulas selling 25% of the Bills, per Tim Graham

Nah, stay up there. Josh Allen is about to ask for a trade. I read it right here on TBD. -
I credit the team for rebounding from 6-6 after the Philly game and winning their final 5 to earn the 2nd seed and a home playoff game (hopefully more) this weekend. At the same time, you can't help but see that Josh is needed to run the ball down the stretch more each season, particularly after or into their normal mid-season swoon. Either by design or when receivers may not be open - far too much Josh has is still carrying the ball and under all 3 coordinators they've had: Under Daboll: 2020: Buffalo entered week 9 at 7-2, finished 6-1, with Josh averaging 5.5 runs to earn the second seed. (No games with more than 10 carries) 2021: Buffalo entered week 9 at 5-3, finished 6-3, with Josh averaging 7.2 runs to earn the third seed. (3 of last 5 games with 10 carries) Under Dorsey: 2022: Buffalo entered week 9 at 6-2, finished 7-1, with Josh averaging 7.8 runs to earn the second seed. (3 of last 6 games with 10 carries) Under first under Dorsey, then Brady: 2023: Entered week 9 at 5-3, finished 6-3, with Josh averaging 8.3 runs to earn the second seed. (3 of last 5 games with 10 or more carries) Maybe they'll finally re-look their offensive identity, personnel decisions, and play-calling this off-season to avoid needing to do this. Until then, they're going to rely on Josh carrying the offense again in the playoffs.

1. Get bigger and slower at WR 2. Take the ball out of Josh Allen's hands more Perfect offseason so far.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
BillsFan2313 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allens personal life is the reason a McD's defense could't stop a peewee team in the playoffs? Interesting. -
We need that no tackling Josh Allen rule.

What exactly do you think you proved with all this? You realize that when you take away Josh Allen, these stats don't line up like this, right?

I’m not a Drake Maye fan at all. I keep telling everyone he’s Sam Darnold and not Josh Allen imo -

I think Maye is going to be good, which is unfortunate for us. The good news is he won’t be as good as Josh Allen. -

Pick is in. seems like they went with a QB. My guess is Maye, hoping he can be Josh Allen-lite. lol -
We'd be the laughing stock of the league for the next 20 years. Half of first round QBs are busts. Even of the ones who aren't busts, the chance of one of them becoming a top 2 or 3 QB like Josh Allen is very small. Trading Josh Allen is imbecilic, regardless of the return.

Joe Marino breaks down the schedule completely
bobobonators replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like him. Is it just me or does he look like an overweight Josh Allen? I saw your post after I posted mine 😂 -
Obviously we differ on Coleman. For me, it’s bigger than just him. They needed more speed. They needed another guy that can run routes and eat targets. They didn’t invest enough resources into WR (regardless of the Coleman pick). My philosophy is that if you have Josh Allen, your biggest responsibility is loading up around Josh Allen. You do that at the expense of other parts of the roster. The Bills differ philosophically. They have neglected the 2nd (or 3rd) most important position. They need Josh to cover up and elevate those around him. I so desperately want you to be right. Josh Allen had similar odds coming out and he overcame it. 🍻

Coleman = Benjamin, Davis = Moss - Beane players
BillsFanForever19 replied to harmonkillebrew's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen said he watched a lot of Wide Receivers this offseason and that Keon Coleman was the guy he wanted to play with. If Josh thinks he's the guy that will work best with his style - that's all I need to hear.
